    Default Antenatal water aerobics Perth??

Just wondering if anyone knows of any water aerobics classes for the pregnant lady in Perth??

I was looking at the one at Beatty Park, but they've just closed their pools thru to June 2012 so that's not much use!!

Any help/advice greatly appreciated! Ta in advance

Hi pixi I just do them at cragie leisure center and arena joondalup. It's just normal water aerobics but they know ur preg so take it easy. If that's to far away hav a look on www.venueswest.wa.gov.au and they have a few places that do it

Sent from my HTC Rhyme S510b using BubHub

I think Terry Tyzack in Inglewood does them. Worth giving them a call.

There's one in Freo as well. I'm not sure of the name of it but I think the same lady who does the aqua aerobics classes also does hypnobirthing

Yes, there is one at the Freo Leisure Centre. I did it during my pregnancy and it was brilliant. It's run by a lady called Gaby who is a doula, and she also does hypnobirthing and pregnancy massage. It's great for keeping up your fitness during pregnancy, and meeting other pregnant women and having a chat about pregnancy issues. I would highly recommend it.

There's a physio led one at Kingsway (Good Life or Fitness First... can't remember what it's called).

the physio at Mercy Hospital Mt Lawley also does them. The pool is very very chlorinated though!

They also do a post natal class that involves the babies at the beginning, then a break, put the baby in the pram and they have staff who watch them and soothe them if they are crying. It was a great class for a new mum

Subscribing to this thread. I'm interested in post-preggers aqua aerobics that have a creche for my LO.

That sounds great. Do you have to have birthed at Mercy to be able to do the classes?
