    Default Short cycles, Bad eggs??

    Hi
I just wondering if there is anyone who may be able to help. I am going to be starting ivf for no 2 in january(ds is also ivf baby). I had my ovarian reserve and other tests done in the middle of the year and all came back normal. But since Aug my cycles have been 22 - 24 days( previosly 28) with ovulation day 9 or 10. I am very worried this means my eggs are now not good quality. We were planning to start ivf on Sept but my DH was taken to hospital and my FS wanted delay my cycle for his health to improve( he was on very intestive antibiotics for a month) and i found this very stressful, and now i am stressing about my eggs. Has anyone had short cycles with normal eggs??. Can the quality drop that quickly??

    thanks

Thanks for the reply. I hope it is Stress, being 38 it seems to all be about quality. I had an ultra sound with all my other tests and there didn't seem to be any sign of endo. But i did have a natural pregnancy miscarriage at 6weeks in march, but i would have thought that my cycles would not be affected by this now.

    Hello
My cycles used to be 23-24 days.. In 3 months of acupuncture my cycle went up to 28 days! I had treatment about 3 times per month..

My mum had 22 day cycles with 10 day luteal phase for decades - and she had normal eggs for conceiving naturally within 1-2 months every time she tried. So length of the cycle isn't necessarily a problem of its own accord.
