Thanks Jade, would love any info! I'll be doing part-time next year after deferring this year. How do u find studying with a little one?

    First of all - congrats!!

As for online lectures, it's a bit of a mixed bag! None of the mid units include online lectures (unless it's an online subject of course, but that's not until 2nd year).

3 of the first semester units in year 1 are the same for B.Mid and nursing (unless it's changed) so this will apply to you too mrskb! All of these other subjects did in fact do online lectures - but it all depends on the LIC and if they decide to go ahead with it or not. In fact this year was the first time that they trialled it so fingers crossed they keep it up next year! Honestly, there is one unit I wouldn't listen to online, it's hard enough to listen for the whole 2 hours in person - but it's torture listening at home - pm me if you want to know which one it is

As for studying with kids - it was the hardest thing I've ever done. Sem 1 wasn't too bad, but Sem 2 was very, very stressful/busy. That was full time though, hopefully part time will allow you to have a little extra time with your little one/s.

Just let me know if there's anything else you want to know - I'm happy to answer questions and for next year!

Thanks for starting this thread OP - I have a question for you jade24! I'm starting my first year of Bmid at ACU next year, do you know if there's a way I can see the timetables yet and figure out what days/how long I'll be on campus?? Bit nervous about figuring it all out with the kids' child care...

I'd rather have a mind opened by wonder than one closed by belief

Yep, timetables became available on Monday

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put up a link or not, but if you just go to the ACU homepage and click on 'Calendars and Timetables' up the top it's pretty easy to find. Sem 1 units are HLSC111, HLSC110, BIOL121 and MIDW127. If you need help understanding how to work it all out just let me know!

Thanks for that Jade! I've just checked my acu e-mail, and all BIOL 121 lectures will be recorded, as there are 4 lectures per week. I certainly can't make it to all 4, I can probably do 2 max as I will be going up from Geelong.

I've also looked at timetables and sorted out a way for me to be up there on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays!

Also, Jade would love to know which lecture is torture. Is it HLSC-120, as I have heard that one is bad

Thanks so much Jade! Yep saw the email last night Mrskb, so glad they will all be recorded!
Jade are the BIOL lectures really full on? I've been able to fit everything into one day as long as I listen to all my BIOL lectures online. Will just make sure I dedicate a whole day at home to study and have my mum take DS..

Hey chloeandme if you check your student them there will is info on accessing the timetables and how it all works. If you haven't set up your student email yet, it gives u a list of instructions in student connect (login with student number and DOB).
