    Congratulations betel!! 😃
It's so nice to hear some good news for someone who had tried for so long. It inspires me to not give up on my dream of another baby. I too had bleeding at around 8 weeks and had a perfectly healthy pregnancy. I pray that yours will be the same xo

Hi ladies, I'm not sure if any of you remember, but I stuck my head in here a few months ago thinking I was moving to Brisbane, however it fell through soon after. Well, now I really am moving to Brisbane, this Saturday! My DH is already there. I am coming from Perth; I had to stay behind to finish my first IVF ICSI cycle. My BT is on Friday, and I'm about 95% certain that it will be a BFN, since I had a negative HPT this morning and they should be around 80% accurate by this stage.

Anyway, I thought I would join this thread now, since I don't think things are going to go my way this time. I'm interested in any recommendations for clinics in Brisbane. We will be living in Albion, so fairly central. Is QFG generally the best place to go? Who are the specialists with the best reputations (apart from Wazza, I see his name crop up EVERYWHERE, lol)? I'd kind of like someone who could be my obs as well, if I get success. I wish I could stay with my clinic in Perth and just fly back for treatment, but that would be terribly expensive, so we're better off getting DH's remaining frozen sperm flown to Brisbane.

This is a rambling post, sorry, just wanted to introduce myself and as usual ended up bathering!

    Hi Sariele!

QFG would be my first choice and Dr. Bob Watson is a fabulous FS and also an Obs, I highly recommend him. He works at North West Private Hospital and clinic so is very easy to get to from anywhere on the Northside. Feel free to message me if you want more info.

    Oh and welcome to Brisbane!

hi everyone and thanks so much for thinking of me, I know how much you all want this pregnancy to go on
I had very heavy bleeding yesterday afternoon (with clots and the all lot) and suddenly all my symptoms (cramps, nausea) disappeared. The bleeding coninued like normal AF so I was sure it was a m/c. I rang the clinic and asked to go for BT this morning and waited all day to have the inevitable news...now they just rang me that my hcg level apparently are perfect (686) .

I am just totally confused, the nurse said that it can happen that hcg levels continue to increase even if you have a m/c...has anyone had that before???? Did anyone had lots of bleeding (no spotting but real AF bleeding) and still have a normal pregnancy?

I feel so no-pregnant and I was hoping for some "closure" today...now I have to wait until next BT on Monday. I am also booked for an early scan on Tuesday, I suppose to check if it's ectopic....

Sorry for the me post but the last 5 days have been a nightmare and every toilet trip is a torture. It's been of great support to read all your nice posts.

to all the newbies, sorry if I sound like a mad woman panicking, I hope your IVF journey will be short and easy .

Hi betel there is a lady on the may/June thread that it happened too. Her level was 17 right when af was due and they told her to wait for the bleed. A week later she poas and it had two solid lines so she went in for bloods and it was up around the 400 mark (I think from memory?) but they still told her it wasn't normal. She has just started bleeding this week and hcg has finally dropped. A little bit different to your situation I suppose. Hang in there. After having an early m/c myself just this week, all I can say is stay strong and believe that whatever is meant to be will be.
