Big BH for Bronwyn.
Big BH for Bronwyn.
Hi everybody, hope I can join in on this thread.
As you can see from my sig that I've been busy riding the IVF roller coaster the past couple of years all to no avail. We have 1 frozen day 5 emby which will be transferred around the 9th August if all goes to plan.
i have a low AMH count of 3.1. I was diagnosed last year when I was 28 years old. Does anybody else have a low AMH like me? If so, has ur fs said anything about your thyroids playing up? And would this hinder you from conceiving. I have an Asian fs and I think the language barrier gets in the way of me getting all the info I need. I'm thinking of changing Dr's if this FET is unsuccessful.
I have a 28 day cycle & can never seem to get pregnant. I've accepted the fact that I may only ever have 1 child, which I'm no way upset about. One child is more than I could ever ask for & would be so grateful to have if I could. I never thought trying to have a baby could be so hard. I'm just feeling a little down.
Anyway, good luck to all you lovely ladies. I wish you hope for your future
Bron I am truly sorry to hear the outcome of your little one... Look after yourself and hopefully when you see Wazza in August he can shed some light on recent events.... Big Love SG
Hi all, I'm new here too- so hope thats OK if I join? In fact this is my first forum post so I'm still working the finer details out.
Hey- Hope for all - like you have never had any children- doing my first IVF cycle currently. Ones Thyroid could definately effect your fertility. My FS checked that fairly early on with a range of BT's.
As far as AMH goes -I wouldn't get too hung up on numbers- sometimes it can just cause you unecessary stress and we know how that helps our fertility eh! My AMH is but in the space of one year at has more than doubled- Go figure?! You are still young which is a big plus a far as fertility goes.
everybody waiting on news- come tomorrow I'll join the the TWW
Calita and Hope for All - welcome. I hope that you both get your sticky BFP very soon and graduate.
AFM - just a very quick thank you to everyone for their well wishes and hugs over the last couple of weeks. It was very much a hellish couple of weeks. D&C was yesterday and all seems to have gone as well as expected. DH and I are coping as well as can be expected I guess. There is a silver lining in it all though - we finally got a BFP. After seven completely failed cycles we had just about lost all hope that IVF would ever work. So onwards and upwards now with a little hope restored. We see wazza again next week and thinking that we are going to focus on improving DH sperm results for a couple of months and then do another cycle, probably in October at this stage and will just have to hope and pray that we have success.
Thanks Bronwyn for the welcome. I'm really sorry to hear about the MC. Some people seem to go through so much heart ache as they journey down this IVF road- but it does seem that-most times- there is a little miracle in the end. I can not even imagine how you must feel but my heart goes out to you.
I was in a bad enough state when they told me of my 19 fertilised eggs only the 1 they were transferring looked like it made it. The FS asked me "Whats wrong"? and I burst into tears!!?! Anyway things have improved and this AM they were surprised that they were actually able to freeze 3 blasts.
So now I'm in the 2WW and obsessing totally about the outcome and every little pain or sensation down there...any advice you guys- how to stop doing that???

Calita - congrats on being PUPO. Fingers crossed those bubsicles will be on ice for a long time until you try for #2. Good luck with the tww. As for getting through it - take it a day at a time. I find having something else to think about helps, but nothing will completely take your mind off the what if.
Bronwyn - Just .
Bron I'm so sorry. ((hugs))
hope for all...dont know much about thyroids but my amh was less than 1 and on my third cycle had success and know have 6 month old twins..never got more than 5 eggs at collection but it came down to quality not quantity
