Good luck Jen and Wunsi, when will you test?

I'm only new here so feel like I don't have a lot to contribute yet, but I will continue to read along. We are looking at doing our first cycle in October!

Hi strawberry, I am aiming to refrain from poas'ing, bt is on 24th August. If AF shows it will be early next week so I think I will have a fair idea what is going on by bt time. That's what I'm telling myself anyway

Wunsi, I have bought some poas but not sure when/if I will do them. Not till next week but might test on tuesday! I have the super sensitive ones.

Read a post on another forum where someone had posted about only doing what you conscience will let you on your 2ww. Basically what they meant was if it doesn't work, what will you blame yourself for doing!!!
It really annoyed me!!! (hormones....a good sign!). I can't sit in bed all day as I have kids and business etc and comments like that are just ridiculous!

Rant over, I know to take it easy etc but just felt that comment is insulting to people!

    Hope your all good!

    Jen

    Hi all
Hope all is going along ok with everyone?

I haven't been in here for a while now.....
Just wanted to pop in and say hi

I was reading that mysweetboy was after some recommendations...
We were with City Fertility, Dr David Wilkinson and we found him to be amazing.... very informative and extremely caring with a great bedside manner...
We had 7 IVF cycles to which we are now 25 weeks pregnant with our baby....

I would recommend him in a heartbeat, also the FN and all staff are amazing as well...

Jen don't worry about the other post some people are just nasty and insensitive and unless they have suffered through the whole Ivf they have no idea!! You do it when and if you feel like it as its all about you in the tww😊😊 I have everything crossed for you all and just take it in yr stride as you sound like your a super busy mum anyway😄😄😄🙏

I'm with David too Trace... And I love his easy going nature and bedside manner, but would just love him to be a little more experimental at times..

When you say 7 cycles, was that full stimulated cycles or including transfers?

You are right too all the fn and staff are fantastic too!! Congrats! An amazing little boy- very excited for you! X

Jen: some women on here need to think before they write or write, walk away, come back and then think if they really should hit that send button. I just say to myself try and not have any regrets- like do I need to be changing that lightbulb right now? If I can modify things I will, if I can't I'll do it or wait for DH. But I usually do it as DH takes so long to do things..lol

Welcome Strawberry!!!I hope your time is short but sweet ( like a strawberry 😃)

Hello Miss Leanne!! Welcome back honey!!

Marttc: giving up the job was me in January, I couldn't do it anymore either.. ( I have been lucky to fall into some emergency teaching) but it didn't matter both DH and I agreed it was not healthy for me to continue working in that environment as well as ttc- physically or emotionally. Everything will work out, give it time!!

Afm: nothing more to report, might no more on Friday as I have my first scan..

Hi everyone, how are you all?

Marttc, how is the new job hunting going? I hope you find something soon that works out well for you.

Wunsi, how are you getting on? Any symptoms?????

A big hello to everyone else, I will try and get on the computer for a big reply to everyone rather than my phone, I can't do many personals!

AFM, well I'm 10 dpo. Feeling really sick and my (.Y.) are sooo sore, veiny and heavy! It's the sicky feeling that is worst as it seems to come in waves. I didn't have bad morning sickness in my other pregnancies and especially this early so im concerned it could still be an effect of the drugs. Going to call the clinic today to just check but I only have progesterone gel now.
Anyone any idea how long it takes the trigger shot to leave your system????

Thank you all for your support, I think I would go crazy without somewhere to post how I feel!!!!

    Jen x

    Hi Jen,

The shot should be well in truly out of your system by 7days if not before.
All those symptoms sound really promising and heading in that positive direction!! Im getting excited for you!!When's your BT?

Afm: first scan to start monitoring for ovulation today, looks like I may ovulate early for a change. So a transfer could be as early as 25th or early the following week. Getting nervous!!
