2days and I've missed so much!!!
Only a flying visit, got to go teach Pilates in half an hour. I got a positive ovulation test this morning so have been and had bloods done. Waiting for a phone call this afternoon for transfer date but hoping it will be Tuesday!
A big hello to everyone, will catch up on detail later tonight.
Jacklicky - I have been thinking about you! How are things going since bubs has been born?
I went for bloods today to check my levels and after an agonising wait I got the call at 2:45 with good news. They have gone from 760 on Friday to 2912 today. So the doubling rates are really good. The nurse thinks they may have re-tested as the level is high. I can relax now until my scan in a couple of weeks! I have been really hungry today and when I don't eat my hands start to shake and I feel weird. So I have been eating non stop! And my (.)(.) are quite sore. I had some nausea over the weekend but none today. I hope it stays away!
So girls, I'm out just waiting for the BT results tomorrow to confirm that. Been bleeding more heavily today. On a brighter note we are going straight into an antagonist cycle I start jabbing friday or Saturday.
Hoping the weekly acupuncture and herbs I have been taking will help with egg quality and that the herbs and vitamins DH is on will help the swimmers, which will equal awesome embryos!!
This will be our last cycle with current clinic and then we will move on, or even transfer our embryos- hopefully we won't have to cross that bridge.
I have 2 new FS apts booked for October if we need them.
Hugs Zakmick - I am really sorry to hear that. I think it is good to keep your options open and think I might look to have a consult with Lyn B at Monash if this next stim cycle doesnt work out. Saying that I am happy that my FS is open to trying new things and this time he has me on a higher dose, presidone and baby aspirin and clexane to see what will happen.
AFM I have been doing the Michelle Bridges 12 weeks challenge and really enjoying it. The recipes are very delicious and nice - even hubbie has been eating them. I go to the gym anyway but is good for a fitness challenge. I have lost about 9kg since my heaviest last year due to IVF and only have another 9 to get to my goal weight which would be awesome. I was so sore though after one of the toning days last week that I could barely walk!! Gotta be good for you though.
I am now sniffing and go and see my FS on 14 September to see if I have downregulated to commence stimms. This time he is bumping me to 450 of puregon to jump start my ovaries he told me. This time Syranal is not my friend! Every time after I sniff I seem to be sniffing like a cocaine addict - which is so so annoying.
Am desparately trying to get his stupid postgrad assignment done which is due Friday and hardly done any readings for - durgh!
Hope everyone else is ticking along.
Zacmick, so sorry for you, this roller coaster ride can be evil sometimes. It sounds like you are focusing on the future though rather than dwelling on what's happened. I noticed your post about ballarat..... Are you going for an appointment there? I considered going there but quite s drive for me but from the calls I made it was cheaper than monash and good success rates!
Midnite, good luck for the 14th! I've never had the sniffers to DR but heard they can give quite bad headaches! You go girl on your weight loss too..... That's brilliant news.
Afm I had the surge detected on Monday so go for FET transfer in Sunday. I don't know what is up with me but really negative about it. I have the idea in my head that if 2 better ones didn't stick then why should thus one! I'm annoying myself!!! Going to have to read some positive experiences!
Hi everyone else.
Thanks midnite and Jen!!
It was a bfn- as expected, witch arrived with vengeance today. So definitely start jabbing Friday.
Jen yes thinking about Ballarat, will see how this cycle goes.
Midnite awesome weightloss, maybe we will bump into each other in the clinic one day xx
Zakmick - I am sorry to hear that you are not having much luck. I am with Melbourne IVF and see Dr Raphael Kuhn. I highly recommend him! He is FANTASTIC and has great bedside manner. I didn't respond to the prognova tablets with this cycle so he put me on patches and said that he doesn't want things to be 99% but perfect. He is very thorough and has a genuine interest in trying to help you to concieve. Not just a number. Changing Dr's was the best thing we did! As he was doing everything possible to avoid a miscarriage. Which means a few extra bt's during the tww to check progesterone levels. But it was worth it!
