Happy Birthday for yesterday Bebe, hope u had a fantastic day and lovely family dinner.

Traveler: all the best for ur BT today hon, sounds promising with your (.)(.) getting sore.

AFM: well after 5 HPT last nite and then another 1 this morning, it showed what I already know-Negative. Only one single lonely little line looking back at me. I'm off for BT this morning but know there won't b a Christmas miracle for us. Devastated is an understatement right now.

I'll come back later today to update on everyone properly. Just in the bathroom trying to hide my puffy red eyes with loads of concealer while I stare at this horrible single line yet again.

EO I am so, so sorry!!! For some reason I couldn't see your post until after I sent mine. I'm so sorry for posting my news, I really would have waited till the blood test. I really hope that there is a big surprise waiting in the phone call from the nurses. This is so unfair!!!

Damn it! So sorry to hear EO. What a shocker. I am really hoping the BT proves otherwise. If not, lady wipe that bar clean out of vodka at the Xmas party today. I wish I could reach through and give you a HUGE cuddle.

On the other hand, what WONDERFUL news for you traveler. Bring on some huge numbers today..... Don't be sorry for posting good news, I am sure EO will agree that we all need to hear it's possible that BFP do happen to us. We just wish it was it was us... very happy for you an DH. Do post your numbers as soon as you know.

Bebe: Thanks for your lovely message hon. How are you doing in the TWW? Its torture. So when is the POAS fun going to begin?

Traveler: Hon don’t be silly, every single BFP on here needs to be celebrated. I am very happy you are getting off this horrible roller coaster ride. Can’t wait to hear the awesome news of lovely high numbers.

Lindylou: Looks like we will be cycling together again in January. How was the concert last night? I bet you had an amazing time? Did it end up raining out there?

Crofty: All the best for your ET on Saturday hon, so exciting that it’s here now after your wait. I would take it as a great sign that you haven’t heard from them and they are progressing along beautifully. I had pregnyl on my 2nd stim cycle, i hated it, the pg symptoms are very extreme because the doses are so high. The needles are a pain as you have to mix them up and the ampoules are always so difficult to open. I cut myself and smashed my first one and then had to get DH to do them as i just couldn’t do them properly.

Lola; Sounds like everything is going great this cycle, All the best for ET on Saturday, enjoy the new acupuncture and the fabulous day you have planned.

PinkB: Thanks honey for popping in.

AFM; Well BT results are in and it’s a confirmed Negative, not even a hint of implantation. DH is taking this cycle very hard, my poor FN had to try and calm me down when i went for my BT as i was just uncontrollable crying and shaking. I have a follow up with my FS on Tuesday to discuss next steps. I know other ladies on this thread have had the same thing happen recently but i just can’t understand how Grade 1 perfect blasts don’t work. This cycle has really got to me, i think it was because it’s been such a long wait from my last Transfer in March and there were such high expectations.

Thanks to all everyone who sent me PM’s your support is much appreciated.

Now this is my Rant – sorry girls need to get this off my chest.

For the past 9 months BOTH DH and i have:
    - NOT touched a drop of alcohol or caffeine
    - Gave up ALL SUGAR, went Gluten free and only ate organic meat, fruit, vegetables and dairy.
    - Took a super high antioxidant vitamins and drank disgusting tasting herbs and juices that were prescribed by a specialist Fertility Naturopath/TCM
    - Drank 2 litres of purified mineral water per day
    - I did Acupuncture
    - I did Yoga 5 days per week
    - We had a perfect BMI
    - DH went swimming three times a week to ensure the temp of his “boys” were perfect
    - I got rid of every piece of Tupperware and drinking bottle in my house that contained BPA and spent a fortune on new BPA free Tupperware
    - I have been using organic natural shampoo and conditioner (that made my hair look like 5HIT!)
    - I gave up a very good successful job and took a boring job because of the stress
    - Took antibiotics prior to Transfer to make sure there was no underlying infections.
    - Spent a week at home after ET taking it easy watching funny movies
    - I ate Pineapple and Brazil nuts before and after ET to aid implantation
    - Went on an overseas holiday prior to starting the cycle to ensure we were as relaxed as humanly possible
    - We had a perfect lining at the time of the ET and a perfect Grade 1 Expanded blast
    - I go to the best clinic in Australia with the highest success rates in the world, and have the most senior FS available at the clinic.

    - I am only 30 years old with NO issues at all and only do IVF due to DH.

Whilst the quality of our eggs and sperm dramatically increased IT STILL DIDN’T RESULT IN A PREGNANCY!

I just had to make an impromptu pop in and say you have done EVERYTHING you can to control the controllables... One of the things I have ALWAYS struggled with on this journey is the apparent discrepancy between high graded embryos and lack of a successful pregnancy. BUT so much of this journey is out of our hands and quite frankly the intricacies of IVF and exact science of which embies will implant is unknown even to the best FS's and clinics in the world.

There are no stones you and DH have left unturned and there is NOTHING more you could have possibly done for this cycle. You gave it your all and it is the factors you can't control that have dictated the outcome. There really isn't anything clever about getting pregnant...much of the time it seems to come down to luck and perseverance. You WILL get there lovely, the odds are firmly stacked in your favour

    Hi girls,

Thanks for your encouragement today. I just feel terrible posting my news while EO is hurting. EO you are an institution in our little thread 'family' and I know that most of bub hub wanted to hear you declare that you are pregnant you WILL get there. As you said, you are with one of the best FS's in the world. But I know that words don't help right now, just hugs.

And best of luck to our two ET girls tomorrow!!!!! Bring in the madness!

Afm- they called to say my levels were perfect. I didn't get numbers because it was my FS who personally called, and I figured if he was happy then I am too. No more crinone or BT's till scan in three weeks.

EO- NO NO NO! This wasn't supposed to happen . I too wish I could reach through the screen and give you a million hugs . You and DH most certainly did everything in your power to create the perfect blastie and the perfect conditions for implantation. Going sugar free, gluten free and totally organic is damn hard work, not to mention all the other stuff you did. You moved heaven & earth for this cycle, it sucks bum that it didn't pay off. I wonder what your FS will say and what he'll suggest next? Perhaps its time to consider a laparoscopy? I wish I could give you the answers hun, but I'm totally dumbfounded in your case. I agree wholeheartedly with Starf1sh, you WILL get there and you will have a bub to hold. You have 4 awesome frosty bubs and at least one of them is your future DS or DD

I can't believe you had the energy or desire to keep up normal personals after what you've been through. You are simply amazing! Foo Fighters last night was beyond awesome, loved it and would definitely go see them again!! Dave Grohl is such a character, and they played for 2 & 1/2 hours. It was drizzling most of the night, but luckily no heavy rain. I had a poncho handy just incase. I came to work today but started late as I didn't get to bed until 2am last night.

I hope you & DH can be strong for each other and do something special this weekend .
