Hello everyone, hope you don't mind me joining this thread. Have been on the TTC#1 over 35's thread for a few years now. Our TTC journey came to a very abrupt end before it started in 2002 because my DH's semen just stopped coming out. In 2003 we paid for him to see various specialists and the best they could come up with was 'it must be in your mind' as they couldn't find anything wrong. We then put everything on hold to emigrate which we did in 2005. By 2007 I stopped the pill as we didn't think it was necessary! Got a new Dr in 2009 who had an 'ah, ha moment'. Gave my husband some Tolerade and we were UTD in 3 weeks, sadly that pregnancy resulted in a loss. Then after 1 full cycle we were UTD again. Our DD was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and died in vitro just short of 21 weeks gestation. Did my 1st cycle on Clomid this month almost 2 1/2 years after losing our DD. Tried to get help 6 months after our loss but no one interested unless you want to do IVF but as a last resort got a referral back to base hospital. At app saw a new gynae who said he would give me a try on Clomid. He also did AMH test which my own go wouldn't do as our failure to conceive is partly due to my husband. Haven't got any test results back yet as I don't see him again until 15th June. Had ultrasound at CD10, there were 5 good size follies so I am guessing that is a good thing. The migraine I got during ovulation was a monster which took me out for 2 days. Are they a normal side effect of Clomid? Any hints and tips for the next round?
Good luck to you all. I have everything crossed for you.
    Sarah

    (suppose to be 15-20+?)

Upwards to 100mg this cycle. Obgyn told me hold off on the provera and hope AF comes naturally. Usually on provera I take from 1st-10th of each month and it arrives on day 13, but not being allowed to take it after the clomid I have to wait until the 22nd and fall him back if it hasn't arrived by then.

Does anyone else's OH feel like they are 'on the clock' and get a bit over the over abundance of DTD? Mine suffered a fair bit of performance anxiety last cycle and was really embarrassed about it. I so need help with suggestions. I have heard around the traps to avoid using lube? (or only using as little as essentially needed) and to avoid BJ's etc ?!?!???
Hi Nates_Mumma, just been reading back to get to know you all and came across this post. Yes we do feel as though we are on the clock as my DH has to take tablets to close the valve to his bladder. We really do need to clock watch and have experienced a few mission failures due to anxiety and stress. To try and help with this we went undie shopping. My DH now tells me when he needs a bit of spice, then I choose which set and surprise him. It is sad that we have come to this but with more years than I care to count on this journey, we just have to do what it takes. Hope this was helpful. Best wishes.
    Sarah
