Clomid CAN thin your uterus so i guess in theory it COULD increase your chance of m/c. However my FS seems to think that it will help me to not miscarry all the time.

    Hope that helps

I think on any fertility treatment you get higher than normal mc rates cause we test so early. Usually women are just a few days late for their period and don't even realise that they had a mc, whereas we know from as soon as the 2ww is over!

I do remember reading somewhere that mc rates are slightly higher on clomid, but keep in mind the pregnancy rate is higher than if u were TTC without treatment.

All in all try not to stress about it- it's a hard enough journey as it is!

    Take care!
    Mam xo

Thanks for the info everyone. I really don't know much about Clomid other then what my Gyne told me and I really don't want to check with Dr Google, but what you all have told me is really helpful

I believe you 'usually' o 5 to 7 days after taking the last clomid tablet so it is possible that it was a day early?

I have been told basically what mam said by my fs (because I asked him this very specifically). He said that whilst is may seem that the miscarriage rates increase it is basically just that we (TTCers) are far more aware of our bodies and the first signs of pregnancy and we test much earlier than anyone else usually would. Therefore we are more aware of those times when a pregnancy does hold past when your next cycle would usually begin.

That really makes a lot of sense. Thanks
