Mum2b I know what you mean about finding it hard to climax but I find changing positions really helps, I can never climax mitionary position anyway lol. We swap after I have had an orgasm because mitionary is the best position to get UTD. I have no hints on a distraction as i find it really hard to block it out too.

Zultbear – good luck during your 2WW – fingers crossed your transfer is successful

Wunsi – hoping you have success in the next couple of months and need to cancel that FS appt

Mum2b09 – I no longer tell DH when we should be doing it etc, cause he feels like he’s just a machine then, I try to do it a couple times in the fertile window and hope we catch an eggie, I do keep track each cycle when I get EWCM and on which days we DTD and if am or pm, and try to DTD on different days next cycle – but that’s about as technical as I get about it. It can be hard to block out what’s in your headspace sometimes and just enjoy DTD – and sometimes I just don’t orgasm either – sucks hey, thats when I don’t DTD for a while so I can get back to wanting to and enjoying it again.

Good luck to all the ladies who are fertile over this Christmas time – I hope you all manage to catch the egg. I’m CD13 today so plan DTD tonight and perhaps tomorrow night CD14 or next morning CD15. I’m supposed to OV CD15 so hopefully I’m in the egg zone.

I won’t be around for a few days, so I want to wish all you lovely ladies a Merry Christmas and I’ll be back on in a couple of days.

    TC xx

Hope every one had a wonderful Christmas!

I got my positive OPK yesterday, a lot earlier than expected! Worked out great as DH leaves this afternoon for a week!! I was worried I was going to miss it.

So now testing on the 9th (realistically the 4th) and in the TWW!

Please add me to test on the 20th, that's based on a twenty six day cycle, but before my ds was born I was 28.

I have been trying for three cycles now as soon as I got my AF back after quitting breastfeeding. According to my doc my hormones aren't back to normal yet after bf, so it will be harder to get preggers. Apparently it just takes time, my ds is ten months. The time it takes just differs for every woman which is frustrating for me as I'm not getting any younger. (I'm 39).

I'm waiting for my Chinese herbs to arrive as they were out of stock for the last three weeks, (so frustrating).

I'm thinking about getting a second opinion on my hormones as although my doc is good she only does natural remedies and if there is something chemical I can take I will.

We'll be doing the smep which means lots of dtd. I hope it happens this month as my mum is here the next month staying for two weeks which will really hinder us!

DF and I are now going to try a more relaxed approach with the attitude "if it happens it happens", so we're not putting stress on ourselves. I'll still be following my ovulation calendar though and will just "suprise" DF when I'm most fertile lol.

We are going to give this a go next cycle as well, I've heard many positive stories like yours.

I'm still waiting for AF after the m/c and D&C... Sigh.

Fingers crossed for you all! Happy BDing to you all!!

    Hi LAdies

Wow lots of you doing SMEP. Wish I had the luxury of doing that lol. Unfortunatley IVF takes the fun out of it all.

Cheekychook - How long have you been bleeding for? When I had my D&C I bled and spotted for a couple of months. Very frustrating when all you want to do is TTC again.

TC - Thanks for the good luck. Hope you have a wonderful few days away. FX the relaxation helps get that BFP!

AFM - BT is due Tuesday so still 6 days to wait. I'm 12DPO today or 8dp5dt. I'm supposed to have a BT 12 days after TF but because it's all public holidays and things we have to wait foa a couple of days. Ah well I'll just keep POAS'ing until then lol.
