So sorry to hear that samarasmum.. Life can be so cruel when it wants to be.. Do u have an frosties or u going to do another fresh cycle? U deserve a rather strong drink!!

Had my laser down on Friday.. Was so nervous and scared I was gonna feel it, that I was super shocked it was over so quick! Just hoping it doesn't delay AF.. It's due tomorrow and usually spot a couple of days before but haven't had any since straight after the procedure..
Now just got to wait til the 15th for our appt.. Can't wait to find out what the go is and when we an start our first cycle..

Amy.. Welcome.. We also have low counts well... Ours is extremely low with them only finding 5 sperm on DHs first SA.. He has now done some banking and seeing as we have been getting invoices for it, I'm assuming we have been getting something!

Boomerang.. Hope the anxiety stays away so u can start again.. Best wishes

Is all Perth clinics the same with the request for 2 embryos to be put back? We r at fert north... We r just curious what the go is..

    Hi all

Samarasmum - Good to hear from you again - sorry to hear about your BFN - you have had such a rough time with the IVF - you are so strong, I dont know how you do it. I hope you are doing okay - Sending you big hugs, wine and the best soft cheeses you can findThinking of you. Thanks so much for the info - I am not stressing out as much now and am looking ahead- going to try and get in with Dr Turner - thinking of starting FET around jul/aug - if I can get an appointment and we can save up the cash before then.

Miss Bloggsy - Hi Thanks for the heads up about East meets West- I am thinking of going before and after my transfer - are they very hard to get into? What did you do in regards to your acupuncture - when and how much didyou have done during your IVF?

Enjoy your growing belly, it will fly by waaaayyy too fast - I was just dying to meet our little one by the time i got to 30weeks, if i wasnt day dreaming about what we'd have and what our little bub would be like - I had my head in a pregnancy book! It is such an exciting time,

Hope everyone is travelling well - sending lots of

Thanks for the welcome back - I'm ready to get on that IVF wagon again

I've tried to reply here a few times in the last few weeks...there must be lots of scripts running on this site as it seems to always crash when I'm trying to reply.

Samarasmum - I'm so very sorry to hear of your BFN. Huge hugs.

Boomerand1882 - I went to East meets West for accupuncture. Michelle was LOVELY and really great at squeezing me in for getting the right timing for sessions.

missbloggsy - great to hear all is going well.

kdsd - I hope AF arrives for you soon. I think how many embies are put back depends on how many cycles you've had, your actual issues and your FS's risk comfort level for multiple pregnancies. My FS was very much against them unless I'd had lots of early miscarriages or over the age of 40.

AFM: Dad gets out of hospital next week - which is better than it sounds. Mum isn't ready and Dad is still so sick he can't do anything himself. He's only 55kgs, can't eat/drink/talk properly yet...can't get out of bed himself, has a colostomy bag and is on dialysis 3 times per week. I'm going to miss them when they leave - they are in Dunsborough, so a 3 hour drive if I want to see them.
Anyway, for the last 2 weeks, all has been going smoothly - thank goodness! The first 20 weeks was just hell....so much stress. I'm getting a bit of a real bump now and bub is starting to move heaps. It's nice...I finaly feel pregnant. Bring on the end of August!! I want to meet my little man!!

    Baby dust everyone
    xx

    Hi everyone,

PerthS: Good to hear your Dad is on the mend albeit still a long way to go. Awesome that you can now finally relax and enjoy your preganancy.

Boomerang: welcome back on to the ivf rollercoaster ride and good luck.

kdsd: l hope AF arrives for you soon.

Samsarasmum: Good luck with you next fresh cycle.

AmyEL: welcome and good luck with your first ivf icsi cycle.

AFM: Damn HRT FET cycle is not going very well for me l had my second scan this morning and my lining is thinner than the last scan Now l have to have Oestradiol injections at the clinic every morning for the next 3 days then scan again on Monday, hopefully the injections work. Has anybody else had this problem? My last FET was a natural and l didn't have any problems with lining and got pregnant (but mc), not sure why this one is a HRT! I'm a bit bummed out and feeling a bit sorry for myself i'm CD20 today.

Geez, Catchick, I've not got any idea! I've not done any HRT cycles, so I can't really help. I'm assuming you're in the "wait and see" space? I hope this cycle isn't cancelled. Sending you lots of good womby-composting vibes.

Catchick - I had very poor development of my lining on my FET HRT cycle. It did stop at one point but didn't go backwards. I had an extra 3 weeks to get my lining right. I was on Viagra and Estradiol pessaries ($50 a pop)< Vitamin E and then for the last week or so trental - which is a drug for ...I can't remember, but something to do with blood and that one worked an absolute treat. They also mentioned the possibility of going to a physio and hiring a TENS machine but I didn't do that one.

Perths - good to hear that your Dad is home soon, though it sounds like it might be a bit of hard work for your mum. I'm sure that she is glad to be able to do anything for him though.

kdsd - I noticed on my last visit to my clinic they had a poster up about how transfering one is best, so it does seem to be a commonality.

Boomerang - I also went to East meets West. Its a husband and wife team and while I think most people see Michelle I found her quite hard to get in to see at times and so ended up seeing Ian all the time. He was nice too.

Amy - welcome. It certainly is quite overwhelming at first. I found reading a few threads on here quite useful.

Samarasmum - sorry to hear about the latest FET. Do you think you will go for fresh now? I recall that you have said before that you seem to have better success with fresh.

    Hello to everyone else.

AFM - 12 week scan last week was lovely. All risk factors as low as they can be. Have now told most friends and work so I can let my pot belly hang out now. Still getting fatigue at times but the ginormous appetite has eased off.

    Hi ladies,

Hope you dont mind me crashing your thread. I'm in Perth and have just had my 3rd IVF cycle - BFN
I'm having a break for a couple of months but find it nice to chat to others who understand, most people just dont! I have endo and low AMH, DP is fine & dandy. I'm currently at Fertility South, who have been pretty good so far.
Looks like a couple of you are UTD - congrats! How exciting!
Samarasmum - I'm sorry for another BFN for you - absolutely heartbreaking. Sending and lots of your way...

AmyEL - welcome to the IVF world. It's an anxious place to be but even though I'm new on here I've found a world of support already

Will be nice to chat to you all

    Hello all..

Have had a rather hectic week at work as havent had much time to do anything else but work and sleep.. AF finally came late wednesday.. and is just about gone thankfully.. so over it!! Only 8 days to go til our next meeting with our FS.. looking forward to finding out all our results and when or what we do now..

DH asked last week what his counts have been for his bankings and they wouldnt tell him .. But they said it has been consistent (not sure if thats a good thing since it was so low the first time) and they did a freeze/thaw test on them and they survived it, so that is an extremely good thing!!

Hope all is well with everyone else.. Good luck to anyone thats starting soon or waiting for results.
