    Hi Everyone,

I went to my GP today and she phoned the lab to request my blood test results (i decided i couldn't wait to hear from my gyno on monday)....The HCG levels indicate it was a chemical pregnancy - explaining my symptoms and late AF (still not sign of it)....the good news is that the egg did fertilise so the next step is to get it to implant itself properly.......one AF arrives I need to start counting again for my next cycle....

Good luck to everyone else waiting on results for this month and thanks for the advice I have received over the last couple of days

Badluck Debstar & keep up the positive attitude.

Big congratulations to Wunsi, that's fantastic news and fingers crossed for everything to go smoothly.

Havent been on for a couple of days so Ive already lost track of all the comments I was going to make but good luck to everyone on whatever stage you are at..

Nat, my first cycle post lap surgery was 22 days, not that it probably helps in your situation but just FYI. Hopefully the different scenarios means a different end result. I think I read the signs of madness once were doing the same thing every time and expecting a different result

I'm still hanging in waiting. I'm up to DPO 8 so suspiciously analysing every change in my body. Its highly unusual for me to get past DPO 11 so lets see how we go.
We got our police checks back ready for IVR (I still don't understand that one) so Plan A and Plan B well in progress..

Debstar...that is good and not so good news at the same time. Good to see the positive side and your hubby can still feel proud his swimmers are up to the task...enjoy your trip and now you can get stuck into some holiday wine and oozy cheese.
Good luck starting your next cycle too.

PS Thanks for letting us know..

This thread has been hard to keep up with lately! Apologies if I've missed anything important.

Congrats Wunsi, and comiserations to Debstar76. Sorry you had a chemical but hopefully it's a good sign that you can get pregnant and a succesful pregnancy is not too far away for you.

Nat, I hope you get some answers on your weird cycle when you see the specialist again. I can understand that it must be worrying you and hopefully they can give you some comfort.

If anyone is interested...FRER tests are on sale at Chemist warehouse right now...$9.95 for 3. I've stocked up. You can order online if need be.

As for us...cd11 today so O day not too far away. We are seeing FS on Monday which I'm nervous about but also strangely looking forward to. Good to get some more info I guess! H

as anyone ever thought they'd just rather go the assisted route as it could be faster...even if there was nothing to indicate the natural route wouldn't work in time?

Maybe it's just me and the imminent big 4-0! eeeek!

You must be in Vic! It is such a joke and it really got my goat when I had to do that and the cpo, are offenders stopped from having children naturally, I think not! Why then, because of our unfortunate situation should we be so investigated? Aaarrrgghhh!!!

Do they actually turn you down if you have a record, or is it the "seriousness" of the crime? Where is the line between "allowed" and "bugger off ya dirty crim"??

Is Vic the only State you have to do Police checks - crazy
I was really annoyed when they first mentioned it & to he honest I didn't really ask them what it would take to get turned down because I knew we wouldn't have an issue. I'd love to know who thinks of these genius ideas. I'm however trying not to be angry about everything to do with this & there is a lot frankly to be ****ed off about )

Erin I sometimes wish we could just go whatever path will get us there quickest. It's so draining & if there was a better way I'm all for it. I'm however dreading IVF. I'm getting Really grumpy with hubby at the moment so can't imagine what I'll be like with added hormones
