What, no one wants to talk about my CM?? I'm shocked. Shocked!!

I am having massive AF symptoms, v bad cramps, bloat, sore boobs but sans the bleeding. Never had this before. A day late but neg test...I just wish it would kick in as this is really quite painful.
If the AHT is positive - you probably are pregnant...if it is negative but AF late and other symptoms in play yould can still be pregnant. Some women don't produce the quantity of hcg required for the AHT in their urine for several months so blood test is always the way to go if you really think there is a chance. I had this conversation with my dr this morning - I am 3 days late, bloated, stomach and uterine crampsm, lower back pain, nauseous and headaches..my dr thinks I am pregnant and is expecting a positive result from the bloods....

Debstar, I think rain wanted to know how long until you get your results of bt

Rain, in my experience it can be anywhere from that afternoon to several days, especially if the gp is busy and you can't get o actually talk to them

Speaking of bt's, I had mine today and I am pregnant! ( i get mine same day because ivf) Yay! Still cautiously optimistic, but levels were great. Have felt crampy since the embryo transfer and still am, but happy it all seems ok at the moment.

    Good luck ladies.

Yay!! You excited for me yay!!!...You know it could be late ov I suppose. I did have slight cramping and spotting 9 days ago, again 1st time for this, and at the time we thought it could be the mysterious implantation symptoms...but maybe it was ov cramping. Looking back at my chart, we have managed to accidentally timed things quite well...and for fun, not just for baby making!!

Oh Kazza, you have given me some fodder for serious imaginary preg insanity. I like to hear that it was about 12 hours of pain, because this is coming up to 18h now. Even the fella is having sympathy bloating for me (it's really just wind tho ). But it also means that AF is not due just yet...hmmmm

PS Looks like you a '78 girl too, good year that one, good year...

Congratulations Wunsi Stick around and let us know how you are going.

Debstar76 it sounds very positive for you. I hope you get your blood results soon.

Nat, are you saying you only had a cycle of 15 or so days? Have you called your specialist to see if this is common after a laparoposcpy? It sounds like everything is ok in your tests so hopefully it is nothing to be concerened about.

I see the Chinese medicine practitioner in a week so it will be interesting to see what she says.

Big congrats to you Wunsi! Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy! Hope to be able to give you congrats soon too, Debstar.

Hi Kazza, I hope you're getting on okay at the moment. Any sin of ov or AF? Waiting for the first cycle sucks. I'm hoping tomorrow I will finally get a BFN!

Your CM is infinitely interesting, Rain! I'd suggest dropping casually into conversation, at home, at work, at the supermarket... Seriously, I'm obsessed with my CM too!

Sorry you're getting confusing cycles, NAT. Hopefully it's getting itself sorted after the lap, and will be functioning beautifully this cycle.

Congratulations Wunsi!!! Keep in touch and let us know how you go. That is fantastic!

Byline - My midcycle bleeding was light but lasted 3-4 days on days 10 - 13 of my cycle. I usually ovulate on day 12 and had all the usual signs of this, CM and OPK. On Fertility Friend it isn't showing as a separate cycle and I googled it and see that ovulation bleeding or midcycle bleeding can happen. So I'm hoping that AF arrives at its usual time on day 24/25. We're seeing a FS about IVF on Sept 10th so I'll wait til then to question what the heck might be going on. Feeling a bit miserable that our 3 month window after lap doesn't seem to be working out. But that's the way it goes and we'll keep trying when we get the chance.

Kazza 78 - Welcome and nice to meet you. Good luck!

Good luck to those in the wait. We look forward to hearing your results. Bring on the positives!!

    Folic acid cocktail for you.

This adds a great vibe to thread!!

Good luck for the 10th NAT.

Kazza congrats on the neg (feels odd saying that huh?)

Gentoo, ooh, it is all I can do not to casually mention my CM..."How are you today Rain?"..."Oh I'm smashing thanks, the mucus coming from my cervix resembles raw eggwhite, so I'm going have intercourse. How are you boss?"... lol

Congrats Wunsi!!! bSo happy for you!!!

I am stillk waiting for my results and won't get them till monday now....no sign of AF though and leaving for the states for a month tomorrow so will have to call my specialist from LA to find out for sure....we are off to the chemists this morning to buy several different brands of AHT to see if we can pick up a positive result on any of them (so far I have only tried the one brand)...I have heard some of the digital ones are more sensitive so will ask at the chemist I guess - fingers crossed (PS DH very exicted about the prospect...he has always said he has super strong swimmers and is feeling a misplaced sense of pride at possibly being pregnant on the first try)
