It's hard to remember/stick to everything you're NOT supposed to do while TTC. I had a strong anti-inflam the other day for a sore neck and then out of curiosity read the leaflet - not to take while pregnant, of course. Well, hope it's all okay, because I wasn't going to make myself throw it up!

Angel, there's cranberry pills too, which are much more concentrated than the juice.

yep tried them too, to see if they helped at all and they didn't and because I only take tabs when completely necessary or when I'm desperate. I have swallowing tabs.

Don't know if it's anything or if it's too early but the last few days I have been soooo moody and each day it gets worse. Yes I go through moody times but these are different and in some ways worse. When I normally get moody they lasts much longer but these are crazy I can be really cranky spit out what I gotta say then within minutes I'm ok again. AF is due in 4 days. Even when I'm sick I'm not usually like this. If I'm cranky I stay cranky for quite a while.

Sadly it's slows growth in babies taking it but the dr said to take it till and if I get a +hpt. He said it is unwise to take the ibuprofen and panadiene forte ttc (the only thing you should take ttc is pandol) but he said because of the nature of the infection I do have to take something and in this case it's what I have already been taking but he said the moment (if I do) get a +hpt to stop them, he said overall I should be right but it is safest in a normal situation not to take them while ttc. He also said when I get back to my own dr to talk to him about preventing them while ttc and during pregnancy I should be taking a medication call prophlaxis every day due to the fact I am prone to UTI and that some of them do get dangerously bad and I will need to take meds thats not good during pregnancy as nothing else will work. Which from all previous experiences is true I have only been able to take Noroxin but the dr the othr day didn't wanna listen to me. If things aren't good by Saturday have to go straight back o the drs.

Wunsi - you're right, that does give hope for sure. I'm sorry that that wasn't the one to stick for you but I hope it's a sign of great things to come. I still believe there's so much hope for us all!

Angelbutterfly - what a time you're having of it, but glad to read that you're on the right antibiotics now and on the mend. As for the moods... that it's all worth it and a sign of a change in your body. Who knows what our signs will be when the BFP is on its way. I keep hoping for some ripper signs one day!

Well, we're about a week into the TWW and time is going quickly this time as I've been busy, so that's good. I just hope I don't get one of those odd loooooong cycles that I got last time.

I was talking to a visitor to our work today and she was telling me that she got pregnant at 38 and then again at 40 with twins after marrying a bit later in life. She had no complications and all perfectly fine with all 3 kids, who are now 6 and 8, so that was a nice little upper for me this arvo. Keeping positive

Ive just started my new cycle so fingers cross for a post lap positive.
Im booked in for IVW counseling for end of Sept so that gives me a couple of last shots so from now on Im not going to consume anything dodgy (eating, drinking or otherwise) and keep really positive

    Hi all

It's been a while but I've been following the posts although not much time for contributing. I am now in the TWW...about 3dpo I estimate...waiting for FF to confirm.

I have done my little experiment with full-fat dairy and I can report that I think I ovulated 3 days earlier than last month (day 14, instead of 17) which should make my cycle a perfect 28 days. Have no idea if I can attribute any of that to the dairy though...or just pure chance.

I also went and had an ultrasound for the fibroids I know I have and unfortunately one of them is getting a bit big and possibly problematic. So, even though we have only been TTC for 3 months I am off to the Fertility Specialist at the end of August to see if this is going to be a problem. I dread having to have another op....but I need to deal with any issue quickly so being proactive about it.

Just figured out that my next fertile time is when I'm away for work for 4 days. Completely bummed I only go away for work about once a year and of course it would work out to be that exact 4 days! What are the chances?? It means we'll only get 2 cycles in before the IVF specialist visit. I wanted 3 more tries naturally after the lap. Grumpy...

Vivre - Good luck with the lap clear tubes! Hubby and I keep joking that it's like the luge in there now!!! (Is that how you spell that winter olympic sport??) Everything should cruise through those clear tubes!
I'm doing the same as you and being a good eater and drinker (or non-drinker). Absolutely no alcohol in the TWW or around ovulation (though I still do have my wine in the first week or so of the cycle). I'm a pretty healthy eater anyhow but am taking notice of good foods even more. The thing I can definitely improve is water drinking. I'm always hopeless at that.....
