Nat256, so glad to hear that it went well for you even if you are feeling a bit sore and sorry right now!

I do certainly hope the op has flushed out your tubes as they suggest!! Are you allowed to get back to the BD'ing as soon as you feel better?

Vivre, good luck to you for Tuesday

    Welcome allworkandnobaby.

Yep I think BDing is fine as soon as we like. I'm due to ovulate at the end of this week (if my cycles are back to normal) so I'll see how I feel then. Right now...no thanks!!

Nat, how are you feeling? Hope you're healing well
I'm at cd16 and finally seem to be showing a surge on the OPKs. Yesterday there was a faint line but today it's much stronger. With these sticks (or me, I'm not sure where the fault is!) I'm going to count that as O. Have DTD on day 12, 14, yesterday, and will again today. Hoping to catch that egg
Do you ladies DTD on the day after or not? I read somewhere that this can inspire the swimmers that are already there to hurry up and fertilise the egg.

    Hi Petulia

I do DTD on the day of O. Not that it's had any effect so far, (nine months and trying) but all the literature I've read and the advice of my fertility specialist say to do so.

Nat256, I'm glad you're okay! Fingers crossed for a BFP on this cycle for you.

I DTD on O day too, just wondering if people bother to DTD on the day after. Not sure about others, but I struggle to DTD as often as sometimes recommended
Not like when I was younger.

All this positive energy and support must be a little bit magic - I have been lightly spotting this week and thought AF was just early and slow to start, but my BBT has been high, so the nurse at our office suggested I take a HPT. The second line was faint, but it was there!!! I've never had a positive result before, so this is huge for me! I've still got a little brown discharge when I wipe (about 6 days of that now), which seems really odd, but I can't help but be happy.
Thanks for all the and support!

Congratulations allworkandnobaby! Hope the line gets darker and darker

Thinking of you today Vivre - I hope it all went well and you're recuperating at home.

I'm back to the FS today to talk IUI. If only there was something that would guarantee a baby - I'd pay whatever it cost, no questions asked. I'm getting a bit sick of slowly creeping up the intervention slope, paying a little bit more each month and taking a few more drugs each month.

Congratulations allworkandnobaby!!! That is brilliant news. How exciting!!!

RoRo - goodluck today. What is the IUI? I rang the FS yesterday to make an appointement for September. Hoping we don't need it of course but thought I'd get an appointment while I can. Hubby and I had the conversation about intervention last night and about how far we'd go with it. It's a tough one. Let us know how you go.

Vivre - hope you're recovering well - look after yourself.
