Argh! The waiting must be killing you, NAT256, because it's killing me - really hope this is your month. The signs are looking hopeful - I only got the faintest response at 12DPO (and lots of negatives before that), so you are very much still in the running!

How are other ladies' TWWs going?

    Congrats Danedlion5

Nat256 how many dpo are you? It all sounds very promising. A friend of mine kept getting negative and when she was about 18 dpo, she went and got a blood test which confirmed she was preganant. You do sound very calm though. I guess it comes from living in a small town. If it was me, who knows what I would do. Probably go to the supermarket and buy every brand of pregnancy test or run to the nearest medical centre for a blood test.

I think I am about 7 dpo. I have not done opk's or temps for a few months. We are going away for 3 weeks next week and if nothing has happened by then will go to the doctor.

Welcome Maddy40. I hope your journey ttc is a short one.

Hi Byline, I'm now 16 DPO and usually only go 12DPO until AF appears. That's why it's really hopeful. Believe me, if I lived elsewhere I'd be buying everything available too. This week I've sent hubby to the supermarket in another town where he was working twice to buy 3 First Response tests each time. I'm so tempted to test during the day but only have 2 more tests to last me until Monday so I'm going to do the morning ones to give it the best chance of showing. However I've been waking at about 3am every morning and trying my best to hold out until 5am before testing!!!!

Sorry for rambling all week but it's been a MASSIVE one for me and I've felt so much better being able to share. I hope I can stop boring you with my sagas soon!!

    Still fingers crossed Nat,

Considering the things we experience its difficult to believe any of us are still sane. Atleast you can sit back and wait and see with the pressure of the operation coming

My test date according to FF is Monday with period due same day. Lately I have been back on as predicted so Ill like to wait until a couple of days after Im due before I get too excited.

I usually have massive cramps by now but apart from some stomach twinges a couple of days ago not much movement. My acupuncturist changed my herbs over the last couple of weeks to try and stop the pain so either its good news from a management of future pain perspective or its even better news.

Yesterday I woke up and was nauseous till about 2pm yesterday which was weird but today I feel fine. We had a traumatic week where we had to go to a funeral for a very unexpected 2 year old babies death. The day was pretty stressful and was very upsetting so Im guessing it took a bit too much out
    of me.

That's such great news Dandelion and we feel very privileged that we are part of the circle of trust. We all look forward to repaying the favour to you sometime soon

Same again today. No AF and a negative test. Feeling defeated about it today. Lost the excitement and feel as though it must be an unviable pregnancy or something if it isn't showing. Or maybe I've just skipped AF for some reason. Anyway, if I have any luck getting a doc appt tomorrow I'll go. I've used my last test deliberately so I'll sleep tonight without being able to test in the morning. It's my last strategy to stay sane!

Oh Nat, that is frustrating. I hope you get some answers soon. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Latest here...I went to the GP about my fluctuating temperatures. New GP as I'm living in a new area. She was totally hopeless and I left feeling totally bewildered by her lack of interest. She showed no interest at all in my BBT chart nor asked any questions about my cycle or why I'm worried or what I should consider doing. But...she was super keen on handing out referrals, in fact I think that's all she wanted to do...I now have one for an AMH test, and a referral to a fertility specialist which I don't think is entirely necessary just yet.

Anyway, time to find a new GP I think!

So, I am theoretically in the TWW but I'm finding it pretty good so far as I'm not really sure that I ovulated so there seems to be nothing I'm waiting for this time around.

That said, my temp has been up last two days so maybe I did O

How have you all been going?
    everyone

Erin just wanted to emphatise, sometimes my temps do really weird things too.
FF has a habit sometimes of letting you know when you have ovulated up to 5 days after its happenend so my advice is keep going until it confirms the details.

On a positive note for you, the AMH test will let you know in theory how much time you have left so that quite often determines the next course of action.

My GP was the same i.e. referral straight away
Her theory was it doesnt matter if she ordered all the tests, if you go to a FS they would just repeat the whole exercise so lets cut out the middle man.

Not too much from me, Im starting to have more twinges in my stomach and not sleeping too much which is pretty common around AF due time (i.e. today)
Im going to try and hang out for 1 - 2 days before I do a test and see what happens

I got a doc appointment for this afternoon so hopefully I'll know more. I'll get them to do a urine test there as I haven't tested today and also get bloods done if nothing shows. Still no symptoms really (I think the only ones are in my head).

MrsErinR - that's terrible about the doc! It feels awful when you don't feel heard. What's the AMH test?? Is that the one where they see how many eggs are left?? I agree with Vivre - Fertility Friend can take ages to show ovulation if the temps are only slightly up or vary. So stick with it.

Vivre - what a horrible thing to attend the funeral for such a little one. I can't even imagine how friends and family of that little one must be feeling. I hope your slight twinges are a sign of good news. I'm all for symtomless pregnancies at the moment!! I'm hoping they DO happen!!! Good luck hanging out on the testing. I really wish we'd thought to buy shares in First Response before going on this journey

    I'm back....no news
Went to doc and she did a urine test, negative. Then sent me to get blood taken. The results will be back tomorrow. I had similar experience to you ErinR, she was most disinterested and just told me that if the bloods come back negative then it's negative. No other information at all!!! She practically ran me out the door with no other possibilities as to what it might be.

In the meantime the midwife is ringing me to book my laproscopy for next week now and I have to keep telling her I need time to figure out what's happening. Be buggered if I want them to go in with keyhole surgery until I'm certain.
This might sound nutty, but until AF shows, I won't believe it's nothing at all. Even with a blood result I'll be waiting on AF to make me feel okay to proceed with laproscopy. Is that silly?

The only good news in my day was the nurse who took my blood said her pregnancy didn't show positive on a test until the 9th week! She didn't think I was being silly at all. So that left me on a positive. Sometimes I think the right people are put in our paths at the right time to help us through
