Wow been a busy couple of days
Congratulation Dandelion on your great news, cant wait to hear further details

    for you Nat

I'm heading into DPO 8 tommorow and so far no massive cramps which has been great. Im starting to feel slight twinges in my stomach but nothing like my usual AF signal. DPO 6 I had a short shooting pain for about 5 minutes which was a bit strange but we'll see what happens next.

Congratulations Dandelion5! I love that we've had two in a row now :-) gives me lots of hope.

I'd like to add my gratitude for this forum; while most of my family and some close friends know we are TTC, I can't bring myself to have this kind of conversation with them. Without you ladies I would be so very lonely.

Fx for you too Nat; after all the support you've given all of us in this forum, I hope you get your own good news any day now.

Cd13 for me, expecting to O on cd16 do it's bd all the way from now on.

I've just joined. Hubby & I married late and I'm nearly 41 and just starting this journey. I'm so scared that we may have left it too late.

Welcome Maddy40! All of us on here believe there's always hope and we've had some good success stories along the way, so keep positive. Do you know if you're having regular cycles? My best tip would be to get onto Fertility Friend.com or something like it and start tracking exactly what your body is doing so you can notice patterns quickly to talk to doc about if need be. Don't waste time in seeing a doctor. It takes a while to get tests done etc if you need to see what's going on with your body. I hope I don't sound like a lecturer! Just the things I've found helpful. Also, on this forum we're happy to share experiences or answer what we can if you need.

As for me - no change this morning. Still no AF and another negative test. I hardly slept because it's making me crazy. I've got a doctor's appt for later this arvo to see if he can help out with a better urine test or take a blood test. I have to know what's happening before next week's op obviously and I figure a blood test won't be back until at least Monday. I hope he doesn't think I'm a nutter for going today without a positive home test.

Vivre - I hope the different twinges are a good sign!! When would AF normally be due?

Go for it Ro Ro!!! Coz then you can be in the fun TWW with us...it's so much fun

Wecome Maddy40. I agree with Nat256...get onto Fertility Friend and start tracking. It's important to know what your body is doing.

As for me...I was happy yesterday when my temp had risen, but today it's dropped back down again so I am totally disheartened and thinking I probably didn't ovulate this month. At least the TWW wont be much of a stress!
Anyway, I made a GP appointment tomorrow as I just want to ask what might be going on and also thought I should check in on the status of the uterine fibroids that I know I have....perhaps they might be problematic.

How did you go with blood test today Nat256?

    and to you all.

Good luck with doc ErinR. I figure we keep asking questions and get onto things ASAP when we can. Let us know how you go.

Well my saga continues. They cancelled my laproscopy for next wednesday because there isn't an anaesthetist available (oh the joys of country living....). They offered me another couple of dates in a couple of weeks. I told the midwife who called about the late AF and said I'd ring on Monday and let her know if I still needed the op (hoping I know by then!)

So....because the op isn't next week, I cancelled my doc appointment. I didn't really want to go here in my home town unless I had to (my boss's wife works at the clinic and it's all a little less than private around here) I figure without the pressure of needing to know by next week, I can wait it out and keep testing each morning if AF doesn't arrive.

I sound very calm as I write this but my mind is going nuts!!! The waiting is absolutely killing me!! I'm scared that I'll go through all this and it will just be my first longer cycle that's decided to pop up. Hubby is feeling the same. It's killing him getting excited but trying to also keep it in check to avoid disappointment. So keep all fingers, toes and everything else crossed for us. Let's hope I have good news tomorrow.

Thanks for the welcomes We already had most tests done over the past couple of years as I had fibroid removal surgery & tests afterwards to see which bits of me work/don't work and how well. At the same time the specialist checked out DH's lil swimmers - he figured we might need some assistance conceiving in future. So we have some baseline figures for both of us. Am doing temp tracking but it doesn't really fit my lifestyle as I work odd hours and it's hard to take temps at the same time every day. Will start OPK next cycle and will go from there.\

Thanks for all your well wishes everyone - it is still very surreal! The only symptoms I had were sore breasts but I also usually got that when AF arrived but they have continued to be sore! Since positive HPT tests, I have honed in on noticing every little thing but the only other symptom is squarminess and having trouble sleeping or waking up in the middle of the night. Anyway only you guys and my man know so to the newcomer this really is a special forum

    Fingers crossed for you Nat256

Still no AF and a negative test this morning from me. No other symptoms except a little tightness in lower belly (this is probably from being tense waiting!) Not complaining though, it means there's still hope.
