Wow! Thank you so much everyone. I really appreciate your kind words and I can't tell you how much it means. I feel so strong today just knowing that if I need to debrief I have this avenue. I'm not telling anyone in our small town about TTC (unfortunately word gets around too quickly and I don't want the pressure), and I don't have sisters or a mum either to chat to, so you ladies are certainly filling an important role for me.

We all have our ups and downs here but we're making it through and I'm proud of how positive we are (well....most of the time) I truly hope we wind up supporting each other through pregnancies too in the near future!

Vivre - I look forward to being able to share my experience with you after next Wednesday. I hope it can help you out to know that the op is okay and we can share results when it's all done. This afternoon my weird self is actually looking forward to it so that I know my fallopian tubes are a definite super highway and we can try next month with the all clear! How are you feeling about yours?

Can I just have a little vent? I was all enthused about this month...have started temping and checking CM and continued using OPK's. On the weekend it as all looking good....+ve OPK and ewcm.

Now it is Wednesday and my temp still hasn't risen...indicating no ovulation yet. My EWCM seemed to disappear yesterday but was back this morning.

I just don't know what's going on and it's stressing me out. Even more frustrating, is the fact that I have to be patient and wait to see what happens.

    Am very scared of annovulation.

Thanks, vent over. I am really glad to have this thread to pour my heart out to sometimes.

Ooh, frustrating MrsErinR! I don't know if it helps but my specialist told me this week that the OPKs are still the best indicator if they seem to work for you. The temperatures can be affected by time taken etc. However, if you're careful about the time you take temps then perhaps it's still coming. I don't understand the +OPK though. Hmmmm....
I feel for you in the 'wait and see' stage. If only we could fast forward! Ever feel like we're wishing our days away in this process?? I do. Where are you at in your normal cycle days? Would O have normally been around the weekend?

I don’t know when I normally O as I’ve never tracked temps and ewcm before.
I’d just assumed it was around cd14. Last month I got the +ve OPK on cd13. This month I got the first +ve OPK on Sunday at 2pm which was cd14…so that seemed a pretty good and expected date for O to be imminent. I’d had ewcm for quite a few days before that, which backed it up as seeming reasonable…but I am now on cd17 with no temp rise.

I’ve been pretty careful with temp taking…always around 6.30-7.00ish.

I did actually start tracking bbt a little before CD1 so fortunately I can see that for the last few days of last cycle my temps were higher and then dropped. To me that hopefully means I did ovulate last month! This is doing my head in…mostly because I am a control-freak and not very good at relaxing and letting things just happen.

I am totally wishing the days away...not good!

something will become clear for me soon!

Stick with it ErinR. I'm exactly the same with the control-freak thing. Patience is NOT my best asset! I'm currently waiting for AF. Meant to arrive yesterday but hasn't yet. I need it to arrive so it can be over by my laproscopy next week and just assumed it would be here. I doubt I'm pregnant, only tried twice in O time this month and I guess the specialist would've noticed some swelling or something the other day if there was anything to get excited about. But you never know. I've sent hubby to buy a test in the town he's working in today (I never buy them in our home town), so I'll test in the morning if there's no change. I have been so focused on the specialist appt this week that I hadn't considered that it was also the end of my cycle.

In the meantime I've taken up cheese making and am just about to tackle my first batch of camembert. With maturation taking a few weeks this might teach me patience!!!

I can't believe I'm about to write this but it has taken a day or so to settle in. I have done 3 hpt's and all have been bfp's!! I went back over my app that records all my cycle info about ten times eventhough it is all in my brain anyway and going by that I am 6 weeks preg! (but 4 since conception if that makes sense) I am nervous because of previous miscarriage but excited because well I don't really have to explain why.

All I can say to you all is to hang in there and keep at it. This forum is so supportive and validates our feelings so you really don't feel so alone or silly with what you're thinking. Although I haven't contributed much, I have read every word and often implemented suggestions.

    Thanks a million

    Congratulations Dandelion5

That is great news. Tell us all about it.

Nat256...thanks for all your advice yesterday when I was having a bit of a vent. I am very pleased to say that my temp was up today. I am desperately hoping it is not some anomaly and that it will still be up tomorrow! Good luck with the cheese-making...hehe. May as well enjoy those soft cheeses while you can! I'm not really a cheese-eater....but aren't they off the acceptable list when you're PG (which is hopefully soon!) ?

Thanks for the good luck MrsErinR. The cheese making went really well and the camembert looks like camembert! YAY! It took all day fiddling around with it though so thank goodness I'm on holidays.

Well, I'm starting to get excited/nervous/freaked out. Still no AF and this length of cycle is unheard of for me. However I keep getting BFNs so I don't know what's going on! I have no symptoms except tightness in muscles just above pubic area, of course this could be in my imagination too. Due to my shorter luteal phase I've read that perhaps a BFP won't show for an extra couple of days after AF is due. So let's hope this is correct.

What a week!!! I think the fact that I'm on holidays is making it worse because I don't have work to occupy my time
