But it's possibly going to be a long 3 months to gets his meds right. So I am really confused and now so hoping that It's going to be negative now as he needs all of our attention (+ our other fur baby needs constant reassurance). And when I do get pregnant I want to give the pregnancy all the attention it deserves and scared that it won'twhile we are so concentrating on Snoopy's wellbeing. Hope that makes sense so when I do get to doing the hpt and it's neg we will be giving the bd a miss for at least next month.
Oh no! Big cuddles to your furry buddies. I hope it all works out okay.

AF arrived for me this morning just in time for my FS appointment tomorrow - so Clomid has at least extended my luteal phase out to ten days rather than six!

Nat, I'm stealing your line about getting the mopes - I am all about the mopes today.

Can't remember who asked about how long we tried before asking for help, but for us it was only about four months - as soon as I worked out I had a really short luteal phase I knew we would need assistance. We've been trying now for eight or nine months - so we're still not up to the average for women my age!

Angel I hope your furry friends are okay. They're lucky to have you taking care of them.

Gentoo, I love to quantify and analyse everything too; I've been using FF since Nat suggested it and I've just bought a Fitbit to track all my exercise. I am in IT - very geeky

Excellent idea ladies. To double our chances, we should make sure everything is non refundable.

Roro, I flew Emirates. The business class seats fold down into beds. I have no idea how I am going to back to economy.I have a holiday booked to Queensland in July. Not only is it economy, it's Jetstar economy

I have the mopes because I have no idea where I am in my cycle. I know my body has been a bit over the place this month but I am on CD21 and don't think I have ovualted. I will take my temp tomorrow and see if I can figure it out from that.

Angelbutterfly, I understand you wanting to give ttc a break to look after your furbabies. They need so much attention and we treat ours a little like a child . She is a our first baby as far as we are concerned. I'm giving your furbabies lots of love and cuddles through here!

Roro and Nat: book that holiday! Murphy can rain on the holiday parade and provide you with your bundle of joy!

AFM: we begin our first cycle next Wednesday, providing AF arrives on time. Was a little shocked at FS office yesterday as he basically said NO to IUI as it was less than 5% chance for us. Suggested ICSI, but I am more comfortable with traditional. Excited to begin this part of the journey.

Hope you guys get some BFP's soon.

Well first FS appointment today and if I'm being completely honest fairly underwhelming. Lots of different blood etc. tests ordered and I have to come back in 10 days for an ultrasounds. She asked me loads of questions about endometriosis so sounds like that is the initial hunch. I suspect the next appointment will shed more light..

After TTC for 2 years, including 3 rounds of IUI, one of my friends had a keyhole surgery for her endometriosis and then conceived twins via the next IUI. She was 36 and both her and hubby had fertility problems. So, it can happen!

My Gp said to come in after 6 months if we havent conceived by then. I'll be struggling to wait that long! Aforementioned friend recommended making an appt with fertility specialist now even though you don't need it yet as when it comes to the time appts are hard to get. For those of you already on that path, how long did it take to get appt?

MrsErinR, I was referred to FS early November and didn't get an appt til early March this year, luckily I asked to be put on a wait list and I got in early Feb. I think the longer wait was because it was christmas/NY and my FS went on holiday as he told us at that first appt that he had just had 4 weeks off. I think I was on the long extreme, some can be quick. I'm in Vic.

Ok, slightly random question but I need advice from this who've been through this! We have just started trying SMEP. When I elevate my hips post DTD how high do I do it!? Haha. Even just a couple of rolled up towels last night was pretty uncomfortable. What would you recommend?
