Default school based group placement qld?

yesterday the my son's school called me for the 4th day in a row to tell me about his behaviour. I was basically told to please not bring him back to school until next week. He has been suspended without being suspended iykwim. They have never suspended a grade one student before and didn't want to have it on his record or something so they asked me if I could keep him at home for a few days as they just don't know what to do with him.

Out of desperation last night I was researching other options and on the autism QLD website they have a little about school based group placement and was wondering if anyone has used this? How does it work? Is it easy to get accepted and is it expensive?

My ds went to AQ for early intervention at the age of 4. And I love it.
I have a friend who is putting get son who is 7 into class there for 3 days per week and two days at mainstream. It costs about $120 per week.
I love Autism qld. They are so lovely. I honestly recommend seeing them. But be aware they have a waiting list and it can be difficult getting him in.
Good see them they are great
