Bellalika: please please come to the next Melbourne meet up! We'd all love to meet you! I know what you mean about chickening out though, I nearly did a couple of times but just forced myself to step outside my comfort zone and I'm so glad I did. It's great to have more friends
Thanks LG. I think I need to start giving myself a pep talk now.

I did finally tell my partner about bh.
My partner doesn't like BH and doesn't approve of me participating.
I just told him I met the hubbers at work.

In all seriousness though, over my four years here, having met seven or more members IRL, all of them have been pretty normal, no real crazies at all. Some of them have become good friends, MsMummy was even the first person I let babysit my DD, while i attended rabbity babbity's wedding reception! bubhub is really good for meeting other mum friends, especially with similar interests. I highly recommend getting out of you comfort zone and meeting a few hubbers if you are interested in making some friends

And I could have met my partner on a vegetarian dating site. no, I promise, bh has been my only online social activity.

Tlt, that's a good idea re playgroup. As an aside, I have a massive playgroup fear. My son is 3, and I m psyching myself to take him this week.

    Haven't met any yet

I would like to at some stage, but there don't seem to be many hubbers around my area.
