    Hi Ladies

Miscarlya - Wonderful news for you.

Gemini - Great news re the pants and I am so pleased you are embracing it, that is just awesome. Thank you for your kind words. xxx

AFM - Unfortunately, all did not go well this morning. My scan with the FS showed the foetus to be a week behind with no foetal heart rate detectable.

Subsequently, I asked to have a foetal medicine scan which demonstrated the foetal age as a week behind, however showed a recorded heart rate of 146, which the specialist believed to be a false reading as she had a lot of difficulty due to the size (she thinks it is likely half that rate). Hence, she wasn't willing to make a definitive call and FS and her decided that I should be rescanned next Mon, which fits well, because there is no way I could ever have a D&C with doubt re the presence of a foetal heart rate.

That said, I now feel as though I am just a ticking time bomb waiting for the inevitable poor outcome. Sorry for the miserable posting.

Thank you to all of you for keeping me in your thoughts. It is highly likely that I will no longer have reason to be posting on this thread, but will endeavour to check in and monitor each of your progress. I wish you all smooth pregnancies and safe and healthy arrivals XXX.

Hi all, sorry no personals just thought I would send you an update. I started heavy bleeding this morning. I rang the clinic and they asked for me to come in for a BT and a scan. I cancelled my other scan and went in. We still have a sac but I didn’t notice a heartbeat. My BT results came back with HCG 3943. Also found out my FS will not be back in the country for my appointment. I now have an appointment with another doctor. I just want this to be over.

Laned and Samarasmum - I'm so, so sorry to hear what you are both going through...

Laned - that's good that your having another scan to be sure. I would want the same, but like you said, it is stressful until then. Take care of yourself & try to relax as much as possible..

Samarasmum - that's bad news about your FS, but hopefully the other one is good.

Big hugs to you both xx

laned and Samarasmum - I am hoping so desperately for you that it's all just a little scare and that everything will be ok....agree also with Mum2Angus - make sure you rest and take care of yourself, though it will be (admittedly) hard not to stress....

Misscarlya - that is great news! very pleased for you and hope it helps to give you some peace of mind...well, for a few more weeks anyway, til the next scan...!!! (and same goes for you 41hope!!!)

Bebehvala - OMG as if you got fired!!! That totally bites..... hope your last few days weren't too awkward....have you thought about what you might do now??

Mum2Angus - don't sweat the toilet training thing.....boys take longer than girls and unless they show clear signs of being ready, most kids (esp boys) are unlikely to be toilet trained before 2-2&1/2 years old.....of course, every kid is different....but if you think he's not ready then he's probably not.... good luck!!!
My nephew was only fully toilet-trained (daytime) about last month, and he's 3 next month. My sis tried a few times and in the end, held off til a couple of months ago when he was showing clear signs of readiness....and he got it in less than a week.

Gemini - last (but def not least)....I hear you on the whole 'embracing-the-fatness' front...!! LOL I'm going shopping for mat pants tomorrow because I cannot live in the 2 skirts that are the only things that now fit me comfortably. Don't know where I put my mat clothes from last time......that would help....
Good luck with your amnio, btw.....I'm sure there's nothing to worry about...!!!

AFM - nothing new. Still hanging out for NT scan mid feb......feels like it's taking forever to get there. Oh well. I guess I should be prepared to be a little bit patient. I mean, how am I going to cope with another 6 months if I'm impatient over waiting 3 weeks??? *sigh*.........

Kseds - I am with you on the impatient thing. I keep telling myself the next 6 months I will enjoy - but need to get past the NT scan know it's all okay.

Samarasmum - Ohhhhh no! I am so sorry. I am sure the other Dr. is lovely and will treat you just as well as your FS. Big hugs.

laned - I really hope next Monday bring much better news. Until then, good luck with trying to keep busy and not stressing [almost impossible, I know]

grace filled - How did you know your GD was back so soon? Does it involve much extra med or planning re: food?

misscarlya - Yeaaah for scans. How was your OB?

Gemini85 - Mat pants....ahhhhh what a releif. Let the work crew gossip..keep them in suspense as long as you can.
Who will you take with you when you get the results back - you know you need someone there to celebrate with you...!

Mum2Angus - Good luck with toilet training. That's a tough job!

AFM - Yup FIRED. They did it very easily, because I was just contracting, they only had to give me 24 hours notice to cancel my contract. What p*ssed me off was not getting fired, or being asked to stay until they found a new person, but it was, what what happened today. I went to work - sick as a dog. Arrived at 8:15 and got straight into things. Boss strolls in as says 'oh I've been swamped without you here' - and leaves me to my business. No mention of sorry we had to replace you, thanks for coming back in even though we FIRED YOUR A+S. She said jack 5hit [can you tell I am annoyed].
THEN I had to go home early as I was running to the loo every 15 mins, was sweating and felt dizzy, and the owner of the agency I work for emails me to say 'while we understand you're sick, they really do need someone there until the new person starts. Is there anyway I can make an effort to come tomorrow as they are so busy....?' AN EFFORT?? Does she think I am joking that I have high BP and I am spewing my guts up and feel nauseated?
Ohh man, I am so livid. Because I am such a biatch I am not going tomorrow even if I feel 100% and will just go on Wed when the new person starts to train them for one day and that's it. Stupid insensitive women, they should be ashamed of themselves - especially the one who is 5 months PG, who fell unexpectedly and has not had a day of sickness, illness or anything wrong. [okay rant over... phew....!]
As for what i'll do now - I need to wait for this MS to go away, or at least get it under control and then
    find some temp work.

Laned and Samarasmum, I'm so sorry to hear about what you are going through, this is such a tough time. Take it easy and rest, and I hope you get better news at your next scans/appointments. Big to you both.

Bebehvala, I can't believe how insensitive they all are!!! I totally understand the rant, don't apologise...I hope you feel better soon though.

Gemini, let work gossip, who cares!! You should only be thinking about yourself and what's right for you at the moment.

misscarlya, YAY on the great scan! it really is amazing. I hope your OB app went well too.

gracefilled, sucks for the GD, but sounds like you're used to it. Feel better...

Mum2Angus, good luck with toilet training.

AFM, I had my NT scan and all went well. We don't have the BT results yet but all the measurements were good and the Dr was very happy with everything. It's unbelievable how much its already look like a baby by now, and it's only 5cm!! My risk was extremely low (1 in 15000 or something) but BT results will be in tomorrow or wednesday and we're seeing our FS/OB wednesday afternoon with all the results. I hope it all comes back ok

I had heaps of cramps Angela, and I mean painful cramps. Some days they would last for a while, other days just here and there. I read that its totally normal, and I asked my Ob and he said the same. Especially when they have their little growth spurts. I still get the occasional cramp now.

I figure, they are nothing like when I had my M/C, and there was never any blood, so I assumed it was ok...mind you, I still worried a little bit. Try not to worry, Im sure bubs is just growing really quickly!
