Well I'm still here. Waiting very impatiently. Had some more blood this arvo and some bloody mucous chunks after an arvo romp, but nothing much else to report. Might have to jump hubby again and see if the man juice will help some more haha.

Hey I didn't think of the fact that if hubby has had a vasectomy that it wouldn't work? I thought there would still be something in the semen that would help? Oh well, the poking and prodding is probably helping the cervix anyway haha

    So much waiting for everyone...

Remember when we were all freaking out in the beginning? Waiting for scans, waiting for results...now still waiting

I thought that sex stimulates the cervix regardless of orgasm or not...therefore sperm or no sperm makes no difference???

Hi all - 4 days over for me now and I'm really over it!

Gemini - I've read semen is good in a lot if things, but then it was sperm more specifically. Apparently the prostaglandin they use for medical induction is based on pig sperm... Also, I remember when I was 14 days overdue with DS, we tried it lots, but it didn't work. Then I have other friends who swear by it... I'm going to try nipple stimulation with my breast pump next and see how that goes...

The app I have on my phone says that prostaglandins are actually more effective if swallowed haha. Don't think so!!!

Mum2angus - are you considering induction? Or you want to wait it out?

Gem - I could think of anything worse right now

I can't wait, DH is home tomorrow and won't leave again now till mid Sept - so excited! We've not spent more than a couple of weeks straight together since 2010!!! Hope we don't argue

Haha yeah that must feel weird bebe, if you are so used to having time apart. You will have another person there soon to keep you both occupied though.

My partner is taking 2 weeks off when the baby is born. I'm gonna love having him home, but at the same time I'm worried cause I'm so used to having my routine and not worrying about anyone else during the day.

How you doing mum2angus?? Hanging in there? I'm not even over my due date yet and I'm already over all the waiting haha. I have another appt tomorrow so I wonder whether I should ask for an induction date haha

Well it has been a while since i have checked in but i read everyones posts all the time. Its been amazing hearing of the births lately, IVF seems so long ago- at least i have forgotten alot of the trauma from that lol.

Well... after a very very difficult twin pregnancy, it is all coming to an end. Im being admitted thursday for a monday delivery (c section). i will be 37 weeks exactly. I am very shocked that I have gotten this far and very happy.

Im having a boy and a girl so it will be an experience.

Im happy but very nervous (more about c-section rather than bubs). Had a nasty experience last time.
They are both going crazy atm- so I am really hoping I dont go into labour prior to this time- very painful contractions- cant do a thing.

    Best of Luck ladies,
    Grace

Grace - Hope everything goes ok for you with the twins, you're going to have your hands full!

Gemini85 - Don't think I'll be doing the whole swallowing thing if I go over!! Saying that it's probably a lot easier than DTD at the moment. I am the least flexible I have ever been in my whole life. Even tried DTD in the outdoor spa the other day which felt so nice because for the first time in I don't know how long I felt light and could move around easily. It's also the first time I have been submerged in warm water since before IVF. I was so worried about losing the baby by having baths that I didn't bother and have just been showering instead. I am looking forward to my first real bath with candles and music. I will make sure I do that once baby is here and DH is off work.

38 weeks tomorrow, first day off work today and I'm already bored! I've cleaned the house from top to bottom, cleaned out the Guinea pig, done all the washing and drying and started reading 50 Shades of Grey. What on Earth am I going to do for the next 2 weeks!

Haha klong, this is my 4th week off work and its really boring. I've watched the entire one tree hill series in a week. I bought the 50 shades of grey book. Haven't started reading it yet.

I have an appt today at 12. Wonder what they will do seeing as I'm due tomorrow? I wonder if they will do a stretch and sweep or something??
