C'mon Ange..it's 2.30 and we're all dying to hear your news!! lol. Hope everything went well. I wouldn't stress too much if you have not heard a heartbeat as it is still quite early!! We transfered only a day apart and my ivf clinic would not let me go before the 16th Jan!!

Samarasmum -Glad to hear your scan went well. I bet your hanging for next thursday now .

I'm still plodding along, fairly symptomless too!!! Won't complain

    Hi girls,

    Sorry for the delay.

They found 2 sacs with yolk sacs but no fetal poles.
Said when they measured the sacs it didn't come up with any measurements so not sure what that means.
Going back for another scan on Tuesday. Praying to find heartbeats.

Does anyone know what the sac measurements should be ?

I think I should of waited till next week. Cause now I'm stressing more now cause no fetal poles.

Wow, I haven't been checking in here since before Christmas and I've missed so much!!

Angelathon - what sort of ultrasound did you have? I had some bleeding at 6wks4d and went to emergency. After waiting hours and hours, going home and coming back the next day - they finally did an external ultrasound found a sac measuring the correct size, but not HB etc.. I had my 7 week internal ultrasound with the ivf clinic a few days later at 7 weeks and there was a lovely hearbeat and fetal pole I think it's probably just a bit too early, and that's why the clinic waits until 7 weeks.

Samarasmum - that's such good news! I bet you can't wait until your next scan too...

Belinda - welcome and congratulations! That's really special the way it worked out for you guys and I'm sure your Mum did pull a few strings in it too..

Gemini - I had an OB when I was pregnant with DS and he had zero personality as well. I would have felt more comfortable talking to a wall and then at 42 weeks I was admitted into hospital and induced. I was on the bed in one of the delivery rooms (just waiting I guess after they put some gel in) with my Mum, DH and my sister. OB walks in with his plastic apron on and gloved hands in the air and looks straight between my legs. I was fully clothed and eating a KFC wrap for dinner, but it was just really funny that we didn't even look at my face first. He said "oops, wrong room" and was off

Salgan - wow that's great that you had your 12 week scan already. Wait before you go out and buy pink though! My OB told me I was having a girl at 19 wks, but at 20 wks the sonographer told me it was definately a boy! Luckily I had kept all my receipts, but it was very sad to take back all the lovely pink frilly clothes

Amps - I really hope everything is going well for you

Klong - I feel exactly the same about the hungover bit. I'm also SO tired and have at least a 2 hr nap every day. Not sure how I'm going to go when DH goes back to work after xmas holidays. Although DS usually sleeps about 2 hours too..

Anyway, I think that's all I can catch up on for now! AFM, one week until 12 wks scan! Also, I got a call from the Birth Centre that just after Christmas to say I got in! I think it's a good thing - at least I will have the same midwife the whole way through, just a bit scared about the no drugs part. I wanted a drug free birth with DS, but had the whole cocktail. Hopefully this one will be different! My MS has gone away a bit, still feeling really tired! Can't wait to see bubs again at 12 wks.

Oh and I was thinking of doing a list of Due Dates. I could go back and try and find them, but could everyone just give me their DD again and I'll make a list

Angelathon - just read your post again and how can they come up with no measurements if they see the sacs in there? I don't get it?? When I had mine at 6 weeks 4 days, they told me the sac measured 6 wks 6 days, which made sense. They didn't tell me in cm or mm, just days. If the sacs didn't have any measurements then they wouldn't be there. I hope they clarify it at your next scan...
