Hey HBing peeps! Can someone tell me a story where they had trouble with a hospital after telling them you are no longer going with them and are HBing??

Just making sure i'm not the only one haha!!

ill let you know in a few weeks... haha.

I live in the NT and they offer homebirh as an option through the public system here (Yay!!) but they are all booked out for June (booo! - ps. i dont know how that is even possible, i called when i was like 5 weeks, so alot of june mums wouldnt have even known they were pg then??), so yeah going to brace the public hospital system when i feel like it.. probably around 16 weeks, coz i want the 18-20week morphology scan... if they give me grief im going to go to my GP for care after that and have nothing to do with the hospital.

Are you planning to freebirth then i take it? I will be freebirthing if i cant get into the public homebirth system

Not intirely freebirthing, I had a morph scan (wanted to know the sex lol) but had no bloods. I'm having kinda like a doula to help me who has had both her babies at home.

The hospital I had 1 appt at think i'm crazy I reckon.......lol told them I was HBing instead and she sounded concerned....

I just HOPE thats the last I hear from ANYONE apart from my birth partner!

I didn't get hassled, just stuffed around. It only reaffirmed why I was choosing to HB in the first place. They did me a favour.
