At only 15 months old, William Morrison was diagnosed with Paediatric Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. A rare form of Leukaemia which is generally found in the elderly but in rare cases, infants also. William developed complications such as enlarged liver, enlarged spleen, tumor lysis of the kidneys, an RSV virus and rushed between hospitals for an emergency heart and lung bypass. The Morrison family had their lives turned upside down and said goodbye to life as they knew it. William was set to undergo 6 rounds of chemotherapy protocol. Family and friends were told to prepare to say goodbye to William at the time of his life threatening complications, but defying all odds, William continued to battle a fight, alot larger than any of us will ever face! William Austin Morrison and his family are truly inspirational! The way their family have shown love, care, compassion and strength for one another is phenomenal, whilst playing an integral part in their little boys health care.
