Vikkib - judging by how strongly I reacted to just reading about severed penises, DH is feeling pretty safe!

    Sugarberry - happy birthday!

Have my NT scan tomorrow at midday. Hoping all is well so I can tell my family when I visit them this weekend!

    Morning Gals

Sorry I haven't been on for a bit life has got a little hectic. I am still waiting on my combined NT result . I have been ringing daily to follow up. The scan came back all clear with really low risk but we are still waiting on the combined Blood/ Scan/ IVF/ Age result. I will ring them again today as I am getting a little impatient what if it isn't as low risk as the scan tells us!!!! Lucky I have been so busy it has been keeping my mind off of it.

Welcome to all the newbies, I am definitely showing now it looks like I have eaten one too many donuts . I told my new manager on my first day back at work but I haven't told the rest of my team yet, but will have to when I am in the office next.

Happy Birthday to the gals who recently have had birthdays, what a lovely way to celebrate being preggers .

With the food I have been a bit painful with it all really as I am a vegetarian but if I go grab myself some lunch I ask how hot it is and if they can make it fresh for me. I am a real pain in the butt

Any way I must fly, look after yourselves

I guess for me the food thing is just working out what you think is right for you. Most of us have been made aware of what 'may' happen and then we all make the decision from there as to what we want to do. For me i eat a toasted ham and cheese sandwich most mornings I am at work. i get it from the same place and i have also eaten pizza...really about the only things I don't eat are soft cheese and seafood....but that's only cause i don't like them anyhow! I do try to avoid soft serve but again I don't normally eat it anyhow.

Im 15wks on Thur and still dont look pregnant...just fat I would really like to start looking pregnant as Im not feeling much in the way of being pregnant...I still so scared of things going wrong...even though there is no indication that anything will. Looking forward to my first hospital appointment on Monday and hopefully hear bubs again so i can rest....Also got to arrange my 20wk scan soon. My FS put a referral in the mail for me so just waiting for that to come and I will make the appointment!

    hi to everyone!

Wow, new thread already! This thread is so funny - some days no one posts at all, and then the next day you have to read through page after page to catch up!

Jacklicky - Oh, I hate that stage, too, looking chubby instead of pregnant. At 21 weeks I've only just become pregnant enough for people to start commenting about the bump popping out. Before that I was just getting the 'Is she, or isn't she?' looks. I think it's completely normal after a miscarriage to freak out that things will go wrong (at least I hope so, or I'm nuts too!!!)

Sugarberry - Happy belated birthday! So glad you had a lovely day. What a BRILLIANT birthday you'll have next year with your little bundle of love about. Isn't it funny the timelines we plan for ourselves - I wanted 3 kids by the time I was 30, and I won't even scrape in #2 before my 30th birthday.

Vikki - You're the queen of updating the roll call - well done!

McG - I hope you get those results today. How frustrating!

Bimbie - My placenta is on the front too and I've been feeling little miss for ages. I sometimes feel her above and below the placenta on the outside now, but DH is yet to feel her. It's driving him nuts, because DS used to kick him EVERY day, where she hides as soon as he touches my tummy. I think she's going to be mummy's little girl!

Elly - Good luck with your scan today.

Melzey - Congratulations on the little boy. That sucks about the SUA, I bet you're worrying yourself sick, you poor thing. I hope your little man grows well all the way to 38 weeks.

Susie - Yay for a little boy and a little girl - that's just PERFECT! I've been looking at the Strider Plus aswell. Isn't the hot pink one just devine!!! That would look so cute having the pink seat and the silver seat with the twins.

Hello to everyone else, as I can't look back any further and my memory is like a sieve at the moment.

On the food front, I'm another one who doesn't worry about what I eat. I didn't worry with DS either, but then I don't like most of those high risk foods anyway.

AFM - I had a bit of a moment yesterday because I hadn't felt bubs move all day. Finally she kicked at 6pm, and when I told DH how worried I'd been, he reminded me about a friend who hadn't felt her baby kick for 4 days and hadn't worried about it. I laughed and told him if the baby doesn't kick for 4 hours, I'm going to flip out. Oh God, I think I AM nuts!

I bought the most beautiful clothes from nextdirect.com the other day. It's a UK company with free shipping and the clothes came in a week. They have winter clothes at the moment - being winter over there - and they are sooo super cute for boys and girls. Pretty reasonable price too!

Hehe, Thanks Ellymoe. I'm glad someone apprciates my stalkerish side i hope all wen't well at your NT scan

I have been thinking about buying a Dopler Bimbie, one of the risks with SUA (what i have) is cardiac related so i would like to be able to check bubs HB. Can i ask what one you got? (sorry if you wrote it way back, i do remembr you saying you wanted one but cant remembr if you posted about what one you got)

    Thanks for updating me Vikkib

Thanks Sugar, yea, i kinda had a bit of a meltdown when i found out but in reality i guess we just have to deal with whatever happens when it does. its still possible that everything will be perfectly fine, so ill just hang onto that for now

I have been reading the food talk on here, im a bit of a stress head about this. its hard to get take away food that complies, oh man do i want eggs benedict!! that will be the first thing i order post delivery!!

Ohh Jacklicky, i hear ya! im not a little girl (about a sizy 16) when im not pregnant BUT - I know my shape changed early because i couldnt do my pants up.. Anyways, up until about a week ago (20 weeks) i think i just looked fat. I spent my whole first pregnancy waiting for my body to muck it up somehow, (but it didnt). its an awful feeling and i feel for you

Reebee, Thanks We are very excited, i think we would have been either way but a boy will be a nice change i think DH had a secret moment of delight when she said its a boy, bless him ... I'm trying not to worry too much, i spent pretty well all of my last prgnancy stressing myself out about a variety of "possibilities" and promised myself i woudnt do that this time, so i am trying to just take each new set of news as it comes at the moment I hear ya on the stressing as soon as bubs doesnt move for a few hours. I am the same..

Hi to anyone i have missed and sending you some random your way

McG - I was lucky, the person who did my scan sneakily let me see the final combined number before it was official and run by my Dr - it was about 1/16,000! . He was lovely and seemed to realise that a few extra days of waiting would be stressful. Me and DH were obviously over the moon. Interstingly, DH wasn't allowed in the room for the first few minutes, and I found out that in our area they do that because they have had assaults on staff by husbands furious when they see their wives touched during the scan! Once they realised DH wasn't like that they let him right in.

Demon Spawn was not as cooperative as he/she should have been during the scan, not moving into the best positions for pics. Little brat already! DH smiled the whole time he was watching though, it was really cute. I'm going to let my family know when we visit on the weekend, it will be great. I have a lot of siblings, so the kid will have 9 dubious uncles and 1 aunt
