    Henry Selicks work is amazing.
it is very similar to Tim Burton's work, but the same thing happened when pans labyrinth came out...
People thought it was a kids movie..
    But it really isn't.

I do think it's odd that they aired it at 6.30... when on another channel Happy Feet didn't start until 7.30. lol.

wtf .. thinking pan's labyrinth is a kids' movie! what was the rating on that? How did they explain to their kids when serge went to town in his torture scene? It's such a sad beautiful film. And Fearless Leader.. you're right, Neil is the man!!

Pan's Labyrinth is MA according to some googling (that's in Australia)... so anyone who thinks it's a kids movie is nuts! lol.

Thought that! No way! Even *I'm* not THAT stupid! This one was on at a "family movie" timeslot with a "family movie" rating but it's NOT a family movie and needs to have a rating of M on it.

Mummy guilt would leave except people are all like oh I refuse to let my child watch that, oh that's not a children's movie, oh that's not one we allow here, etc which is fair enough and I feel the same way except I was tricked.

I love Tim Burton. But he didn't direct Coraline

Don't worry! I would have sat DD down to watch it too if I'd been in the mood for "family movie time".. before I looked at it I had every intention of watching it with her today. Yes one does assume a cartoon-ish movie on at 6.30 would be suitable
