Luckyme1 Thanks for clearing that up, I've been told by a naturopath that amh levels can be improved for some women. Also sounds like you are doing the same as most of us with Dhea, TCM & supplements.

Katubb how did your 7wk scan go? All sounding normal to me but it's natural to feel nervous - Good luck with all smooth sailing from here

    Thanks Nessika!

Having cramps today, they feel like af cramps but it's only cd19. Think af is on it's way. Feeling very depressed and a failure at being a mum. I so want another baby, we have just moved to Canberra and I don't know anyone, it also seems like everyone has big families here, and I just feel like the odd one out. Just down on myself today cos AF is coming.

Annoyed also as I thought my cycle were improving and going back to a 28 day cycle, and I was hoping my fertility was improving, it doesn't seem to be the case though this month, with cramps on cd19 looks like I'll have a short cycle this month. I really feel peri menopausal with an amh of 1, I'm only 39 this is so not fair.

Just wanted to say nessika, you getting pregnant with an amh of 1 gives me hope. We're seeing another fs at the end of may so maybe that's the route for us.

What are the next steps for you if you don't mind me asking? Will you keep doing Ivf with your own eggs, have you considered using a donor egg?

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Kattub that's a great heart beat, being tired is normal, you may be lucky and get no morning sickness at all.

Kattub as Lucky said things are very positive re h/b & feeling tired. Don't forget to look up baby websites which tell you what to expect and what the embie/ fetus is up to each week. I really enjoyed doing that, seeing how many cm's they should be although my baby was always small.

Luckyme re feeling depressed you sound exactly like how I felt 6mnths ago when we moved and were in the midst of back to back IVF cycles. It's exhausting doing it all with a young bub too and I felt that whole failure thing which is really grief as how can you be a failure when you are doing your best and these fertility issues aren't our fault. Yeah I got lucky with one egg with my DD cycle, I don't know about the donor egg thing, have certainly thought about it but then DH would have 3 children with 3 diff. biological mother's.
I'm also changing FS' after being with the same one for the last 6 cycles, needed someone who would be more thorough with the testing. I'm seeing my new FS in a week, when do you meet yours? I also used HGH which did give me a better result with egg # & fert rate but not a sticky BFP.

Thanks Nessika, feeling better today. Getting on top of the move and yesterday went to the gym and my ds went to the childcare. It felt great to do some exercise even if it was low intensity, cos whilst my Af hasn't come there's still hope right?

Good luck with your next fs appointment, I hope they make you more comfortable cycling with them.

We would be open to donor eggs, because I don't want to be doing Ivf on my old eggs forever. I'm definitely going to go into it with a number of cycles we'll do, and then we'd move onto doner eggs. I think having an end in sight would help me cope so we know when is the right time to move to the next option. I have one genetic child and for me I would like another child for my ds so I don't want to have a big age gap. Plus the expense is so huge, I would rather have the money for my ds's education as well.

Good luck with your appointment anyway, mine is at the end of May

Luckyme1 Oh I see you're trying for another natural BFP, have become so accustomed to meds & labs that it doesn't occur to me that you can make a baby the old fashioned way you will be LMe2 soon. Understandable that you want to have a back up plan & think about the donor option. Sounds like you're on the right track with going to the gym and doing things to make yourself feel good.

Sorry ladies for crashing your thread. I have low AMH also (can't remember how low, maybe I've blocked that out!)
Kattub - how exciting for you! Good luck, I hope all goes smoothly.
Lucky4me - yes, trying naturally, whats that again?!! haha for you. Yes damn AF and the upset she brings, hang in there.
Nessika, I see you've had a bit of a rough journey but congrats on your DD
I'm not sure about the donor egg thing either. I think I'll try with my own a couple of times yet. My DP also has his own DS from a previous marriage which can be a struggle too, how did you go with that before your DD was conceived?.... gosh, how did you do it all with a baby? So hard to do it as it is - good for you.
Well I'm onto my 3rd IVF cycle. It's my first FET but I dont think it's worked as my headache has shown up yesterday and thats normally a no-go sign for me.
I used DHEA with my last fresh cycle and got 6 eggs only got 3 on the first cycle so def an improvement there. 3 made it to Blasto so 2 frozen but only one 1 made the thawing. I'm onto acupuncture too now but of course she has been on holidays for the last 2 weeks! right when I needed her! Oh well everyone needs a break
I'm pretty new on here next stage my FS is talking about putting me on some drug that may put me into menopause but because of my low AMH they might not get me back Not too keen on this, does anyone know what he's talking about or had experience with it?
    Thanks ladies

    Hi Kayjaye and welcome.

That drug your FS wants to put you on sounds odd, what is it called? Well I hope the witch stays away, fingers crossed for you.
