Hi I'm having trouble sleeping because of my big day nap today whole body is I think.

LG that brings me to your statement about how confusing IVF is & I completely agree although M20 put it much better than this it does change with different cycles & even the specialists can't give us straight answers half the time. I like learning about positive changes we can make like higher doses of Coq10 etc but some of the harder facts can leave me either depressed or confused. Didn't mean to dismiss your querie just wanted to send you as you are in the middle of your cycle.

M20 Only 4 of the 8 follies were viable, still I'm really happy with that and hoping for a good fert rate too! Your knowledge is so vast about all of this . Yep your pregnyl doses & times sound spot on

Katubb welcome & sorry to hear about cycle being cancelled, my first one was years ago too and it was such a big disappointment. Hang in there so many of us have been in that situation and then have gone on to get our much wanted BFP's. You'll get a lot of support on this thread in particular.

M2O - You are our IVF encyclopedia. Many thanks for explaining that. Do you know if AFC correlates with the amount of eggs collected i.e. I had 14 follies last time and they only collected 5 eggs and this time I have 14 again but only 5 so far that look like they may be viable. AS my AFC is 6 that would correlate or is it just coincedental maybe?

Hrmm the TWW, well I did not go so well with that last time so have nothing that I can offer to help. It really drove me quite mad and as for the crinone...well the less said about that the better . Work distracted me a little for the first few days but after that I was a basket case. I am sending you some I often wish I could be one of those people who are all 'peace and serenity' but its never going to happen!!

Ness - Hope you managed to get back to sleep!! I totally agree re the FS I'm sure a lot of this is still trial and error to them too. for a great fert rate, I've got everything crossed for you

Katubb - Welcome, I have not had a cycle cancelled yet but this is only my 2nd cycle, although I too have unexplained infertility and have been TTC our first for the last 7 years. This forum and in particular this thread has kept me sane for the last few months. A lot of the girls on here are very knowledgable and as Ness says you will find support here

    Hey everyone

3 of my 4 eggs took the bait & I'll be having a 2 day ET tomorrow - my first transfer with 2 embies I'm so tired due to hardly sleeping last night and all this stuff plays with your mind.

MrsOC I think those products were well worth it, much more cost effective than IVF!! & it worked amazing

Millie I don't think I'll get any frosties but I'll take the BFP!

M20 I'll be right along side with you for 2WW as of tomorrow, how are you going? Do you think you'll get any frosties this time?

LG when is you EPU, must be early next week? So feeling pretty bloated hon, I keep rubbing my tummy like i'm already UTD

Ness - thats great news!!! 75% fert rate is pretty awesome. This stuff definitely plays with your mind. I found the hardest part waiting for the fert results. Hopefully now you can relax just a little bit.

Yep I'm really bloated now, look and feel like a barrel!! I think my epu will prob be Mon or Tues. Next scan and BT is Saturday morning and FS wanted to grow the follies a bit more this time. She wont trigger until they are at 20mm (well I guess the biggest one anyway)

Massive for those embies to be sticky

katubb, I wonder why your cycle is cancelled if you had 4 follicles? Over in another thread, another lady went for EPU with just one follie she got two eggs!

MrsOC, I wish we can just ttc naturally and get our BFP again through that, but it will take another miracle (DS was but that was when I was only 30) with DH's sperm issues. Well if this cycle doesnt work, I am going back to back cycle, give it a last try and probably we will decide we will end there. I cant see myself doing IVF over and over again, there are many things I want and have to do out there besides ttc.

LG38, this cycle I had 13 follies during AFC but I only had 5 eggs retrieved, 2 being immature. It all depends on how our follies respond to the drugs. And if they are near to one another in size or not. Ideal situation is to have them more or less same sizes. Usualy those follicles above 15mm should have a mature egg (no guarantee though) and those lower wouldnt. But this time I think my 15mm got me immature eggs.

I also think even though AFC may be 6, the FSH can cause many others to grow.

Ness, 75% is very very good!!! We just need one or two champions dont we?! I dont know how my last embie is doing, I have asked FN but she hasnt got back to me. Part of me doesnt want to know cos it is discarded, I will be affected for sure.

katubb, there surely are some lucky ducks out here who got it first go. I am not one of them . I think those who are younger has very high chance of getting it first go.
