M2O - No still waiting for AF. Should be here next weekend so will start jabbig then. Ovulation has been a bit screwed up CD19 last month and CD12 this month, but did not delay AF last month so hoping it wont this time. I have not had any palpitations on DHEA, just the obligatory grease issues.
Apparently there will be some differences to my cycle this time round that will involve more scans, but hopefully that combined with DHEA will make some difference.

Spot, Millie and CJ - Big congrats to you all

    Hi to everyone else.

M20 Let us know when you get your answer hope you get your antagonist cycle underway then. Yeah you don't want to do be doing anything that can make heart palpitations worse - it's hard when you're not sure of the side effects, what about reducing dose?

LG seems like I jumped the gun the other day thinking that you were starting jabbing already - AF is on time.

AFM AF is almost over favourite time of the month - had b/t & p/u meds this morning so hope to be starting tonight but FN said it might be on Wed in keeping with their schedule I wanna start now. We are planning to go on beach holiday for the second wk of 2WW

    Have a good week everyone

Ness - sounds like your cycle is very different from mine. I am doing antagonist again so quick compared to yours. So you dont start jabbing until AF is over?
FS says they will monitor me more closely this time and will not trigger until follies are 20mm. Also HA and calcium thingy (that would be the technical definition) for DH.

Do any of you take COQ10 and Royal Jelly? If so what dose are you taking? I have been taking both for some time now, but was only taking 150mg a day of COQ10 and read somewhere that for fertility dose needs to be 600mg per day?

M2O - Did you hear back from FS?

MrsOC/Jaye - How are you both doing?

    Hey gals!!

Well update...screw up with the new clinic new FS telling me they can do sperm magnification last Friday but this morning the nurse said they actually do not have this technology yet! So DH and I decided to do our 4th cycle with the current clinic (which is the same as yours LG38). I am CD2 so am jabbing tonight. DH will be collecting drugs and paying up at clinic.

LG38, i am doing the antagonist too. I love it, so short! Howeverr DH actualy wanted me to do the long down reg again, he feels our results were better. I told him I just want to try another antagonist again. IIf it sucks again, I will go back to nasty synarel sniffing (long down reg) I know he is paying the $ but I really preffer the antagonist cycle.

Nessika, yeah I stop the DHEA and I think I feel better. It comes in 75mg so I cannot split the capsule.

Oh I am on 600mg coQ10 for several weeks already. and I take 2-4 capsules of royal jelly for about close to 3 months aready.

I am feeling excited about starting another cycle but of course I am feeliing all the apprehension and unccertainties alll over again. Sigh...I thought I had made a wish during xmas that our rollercoaster rides be not so bumpy?

M2O - How annoying to keep being given wrong info. From what I have heard Synarel is pretty awful, but I guess you do what you have to do.

I have upped my dose of COQ10 to 600mg per day. Looks like I had the Royal Jelly right.

Its a shame the DHEA was making you feel so horrible. I'm interested to see what if any difference it makes for me.

Its a funny feeling isn't it. I too am excited to get started again but also very nervous. I'm sure I'll be ok once I get underway, just want AF to hurry up!!

M21DS - I loved the antagonist too and my results (egg and quality wise) were the same as when I did a down reg. Good luck

LG38 - I used CQ10 and Royal Jelly. My FS Wazza is a big fan of CQ10. He also believes in taking a Berrocca a day, Megafolate, zinc, and fish oil

Ness - Wishing you the BEST New Year present

It looks like we have some BFPs coming up. I'll be popping in to cheer you on.

    Millie

Yes milliegirl! Give us more BFPs for this new year to add to the three!!!

AFM my first jab went fine last night, not a sweat. I am doing the antagonist again but with much lower dose this time, only 300IU. It does get easier after all these cycles, the jabbing, not the pocket and not the emotions. LG38, somehow I am happy to stop the DHEA and I shall see if I can trying popping some again to see if it gives me those horrid palpitations again.

I had my day 3 scan this morning. I had to pay for it cos it was not in the schedule but I insisted on having one done. Had 2 follies on the right ovary and about 7 on the left. My lining is 6.5mm which I feel is a bit thick, maybe that is the reason why my lining always get so thick during ivf. I thought it is supposed to be max 4-5mm on day 3. Anyway the sonographer told me that is fine. Should I believe her?! Not sure! But she said I had two normal cysts left over by each ovary, which is called the corpus luteum from last month. I was pleasantly surprised that I had released two eggies last month without IVF.

LG38 Yes my jabbing will start tomorrow night which is cycle day 8 I would much prefer to do an antagonist but typically I have to do things the hard way - not that it really matters because it comes down to the same EPU & 2WW. Wow I just checked and I'm only taking 150mg CoQ10 a day I will double dosage for the next fortnight. Millie thanks as soon as I read Wazza recommends Berrocca I took my B B Bounce as had some left over. I swear it's like having your own pharmacy Synarel x2, CoQ10, chinese herbs, Elavit, Evening Primrose, Zinc, Spatone Iron sup. & now Berrocca, starting injections tomorrow night which will be 2 nightly as also doing Saizen. M20 I take 3x25mg Dhea a day so I can change dose. Glad your first jab went well last night Us 3 ladies will be very close together with our EPU's - that's great you are happy with egg numbers so far - cannot comment on lining as know very little about it all. Hope someone else has some more knowledge on that.

LG & M20 speaking of nerves & excitement I felt really stressed leading up to AF but now am feeling quite calm. I've learn't for me anyway to expect the unexpected every cycle has produced such different out comes. It's all happening now - which day are you both estimating EPU mine will be Mon 30th or Wed 1st Feb (clinic only does EC on Mon, Wed or Fri)

Oh Nessika, every morning when I am in front of the supplements dispensing them, my DH would comment, "here goes the pharmacist...." haha... Actually I haven't calculated my est epu date, It should be end jan first few days of feb depending on how I respond with this 300iu gonalf. I also am prepared to have only a few eggs retrieved on this dose but I hope they will be quality ones and give us two perfect viable blasts.

Ness/M2O - Yep I can relate to the home pharmacy thing. All these supplements on top of my regular medication (which is huge) and then all the IVF stuff, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.

I will be on 450 Gonal F again.

I too know very little about the lining, so would be unable to comment. Mine has never been mentioned as an issue but they have also never told me the thickness. I may ask when I go for my first scan, just out of interest.

If everything goes accordong to plan my EPU should be sometime the week of the 6th Feb.

    and for us all
