MrsOc - I hope you feel better soon. The emotional part of this process sucks. Like you I always thought I would have had a child by now and it all gets harder as we get older. I keep telling myself that this will be the year and I hope it is for us all.

M2O - I dont think you are losing your cool at all, I think you are being remarkably controlled under the circumstances. In this caper time is of the essence and I think they should be doing everything they can to correct their mistake.

I hope it all goes well for you with the other FS and that you ared still able to cycle this month.

    Hi to all

AFM - I went and picked up meds this morning so now its just waiting to start jabbing again

well today I had the dreaded 6 week scan (last one I had we found I had a blighted ovum) so today I was soooooo nervous.

But there it was, a perfect little bub with a heartbeat around 135 - 140. Dr Hale said all is perfect, measuring 2 days ahead at 6 weeks 4 days.

I got all teary, so did my DH and Dr Hale was getting rather misty eyed too! He said all looks so good that we need not worry about the 8 week scan.

Came home, booked in with my Obs

Hugs to you all, all the best for you gorgeous girls about to start on your next cycles.

Milliegirl cannot wait to hear about your scan tomorrow.

    xxx

Spot so happy for you & DH I can well imagine tearing up on such a momentous occasion! Well wishes for all your upcoming scans over the next 7 & 1/2 months.

M20 So sorry to hear that you were stuffed around so much, hope other FS is able to get you started ASAP! Yes apparently Pregnyl has been out of stock all around the country but they are expecting it back now so hopefully if you want to use it this time it will be available for you too

MRSOC I think we all feel like giving up between the grief & the clock constantly ticking it's our defence mechanism kicking in. BTW 40 is a special one so please celebrate. I hope you feel better soon & ready to give it another go

LG Starting jabbing Yay! I know it must be a burden when you've got enough injections to worry about - but it's another chance that your dream will come true

Millie & CJM1 can't wait to hear about your scans today

AFM I seem to be the only P.R who does the long cycle - I've been sniffing Synarel for 2 weeks by the time I start jabbing on Monday. I was sorry to hear that no one else feels relaxed during acupunture it's so expensive too. I felt totally freaked out when my new TCM lady put the needles in my back & neck & my face was squashed into the hole in the bench talk about torture. But generally I just feel like it must be doing so much good for us which gives me a bit of relief as the IVF can leave us feeling so disempowered.

Ness - I totally understand your feelings. It is nice just to do something to nurture yourself, and feel you are adding to your health instead of depleting it.

Spot - I'm so thrilled for you and DH. It's totally overdue, and I'm glad you persevered and have this result. Your bub is obviously thriving, and already overachieving Can't wait until your next update as we count down the days.

I had my scan today at 6wks 4 days. I saw the most beautiful heart beating, and felt so blessed. I was alone. Just me, Smudge and the obstetrician and I thought 'I'm meeting my baby'. Time stood still, and the heartache of the last 3 years has started to slowly recede. The Dr said 'look you can see the blood circulating around the body. This is great visibility'. It's true, you can see so much at this stage. All the little organs are working and it was just like the pictures we see in books, only it's happening IN me Egg donors ROCK girls. They are angels for women like me.

Wow great to hear great scan results from you 3 ladies! You 3 ladies certainly deserve this part of the journey. Enjoy a smooth pregnancy henceforth!

LG38, have you started jabbing aready? How is it going? Did yourr AF arrive as calculated? Mine just arrived. Great that DHEA did not affect it so far. FYI I decided to stop DHEA today and rest for a while to see if it is the cuplrit to my heart palpitations. I read before that it may. I already have palpitation history and now it seems worse. If DHEA is the culprit I may not be able to continue taking it.

everybody else and those who are lurking!

AFM : My next cycle is in limbo land. I managed to see a new FS on 13th Friday not the other one whom we were supposed to see on 11 Wed. We discussed a long while. DH and I were supposed to get back to him via email about starting an antagonist or long down reg but he did n ot reply us. AF is already here so I hope i can get him tml to start on an antagonist cyce asap. Finger x LG and Nessika we can be cycle buddies.
