Where to start???

With all the issues that are going on with my 7yo son at school, which includes being bullied by both students and teachers, I have decided to home school him. I need to know what needs to be done for me to do this. I am in QLD. I've had a quick look on the education queensland website but I am completely lost.

If anyone can give me some info or steer me in the right direction I would be so grateful. I'm kinda overwhelmed with it all at the moment.

I was given two names to research from a lady a church. One was Michelle Duffy I think, but I don't recall the other.

I have found a website, www.homeschooling.com.au , and will be buying the books etc off there. I will be ringing the education department and finding out what I need to do. From what I have read so far, I think I need to write up a cirruculum for him to prove what I am going to teach him. This is what I need some help with as I have no idea what I'm supposed to do!! I'm planning to just follow the cirruculum that the home schooling website supplies hopefully!!

I found the piece of paper I wrote the names down on, and my apologies but I specified wrong earlier. The names I was given were Kathy Duffy and Michelle Hornery. One of them was specifically for tips in complying with Education Queensland's checks and balances.
