No because we buy a real one every year, it would be dead by christmas if we put one up now. We will put ours up the first weekend in December. I can't wait for the christmas smell to fill my house.

I wont be putting my tree up this year. Last year I had it sitting in the playpen and DS still managed to get to it and pulled it over a few times.
Maybe next year. I will just be putting some lights on the ceiling and some deco's on the walls where he cant reach

Growing up we put it up at the end of November, since being with dp we put it up on the 1st of December.
I can't wait until ds2 sees it, he's 11 months old and loves the tinsel and decorations in the shops now.

Ds1 wanted to play with one today.

We put ours up on the 25th of October. That way its up for 2 months (i take it down either boxing day or the day after tho) otherwise i feel bad for all the poor decorations that just sit in the couple all year lol. I havnt really started baking yet. Christmas shopping is nearly all done and nearly all wrapped aswell. I love christmas plus im due to have Baby number 2 on thursday so needed to be organised.

Nope. No way. No how. It isn't going up until a few days before Xmas.

It's going up any day now, I just need to pick it up from the layby counter I have all of my decorations ready, but my old tree smelled like cat pee so it was evicted.

I am another who likes the season to last as long as possible. And for some reason, this year doesn't seem very Christmas-y compared to previous years? Maybe it's a Brisbane thing (am new to Brissy). I don't like it! I much prefer when everywhere reeks of Christmas
