Hell no! Not until 1st of Dec for us, I would consider putting it up earlier if I knew it wasn't going to get trashed, climbed on, tipped over whatever by the ferals. We are going to make a start on Christmas lights this weekend though, but they wont be switched on until Dec. As for presents, they are still sitting in the shops, I have got them on layby though, so doing better then previous years.

If I had my way it'd go up in October but DH told me to be reasonable or that Santa wouldn't bring me the bedding I've wanted all year. Fair enough I guess.
You will have to start a "reveal your Christmas tree" thread I'm waiting for the Secret Santa thread to start aswell.. so while your at it

No. When my 8yo finis hes school for the term we'll put it up. Maybe the small one because my kitten will only be tiny still so he'll want to climb it. The other one will hurt him if it falls on him.

    Nope, for two reasons.

    1. My birthday is Dec 2, and there is no Christmas before my birthday.

    2. We do a real tree, and getting it to early means it wont last the distance.

It's usually around Dec 5 when we get one, depending on what day of week my birthday falls and if there are plans to celebrate.

Up now? WITH presents under it? That would be torture!! Eyeballing those pressies for TWO MONTHS!!

I might put it up around the 15th of Dec... maybe. If things settle down with DD I might. She will be about 9-10 weeks. I need something that resembles a routine before I think about decorations.
