Default Ovulation pain but negative OPK.

I am having pains in my lower left side, where I always get my ovulation pain. I just did an OPK and the second line was hardly visible!!
I'm not due to O for 4 days and have a cold at the moment.
Treat it as O or wait for a positive OPK?
I am trying to DTD for 3 days over O as per sperm meets egg plan and not to sure I can DTD for a week straight with this terrible cold if I O later!

Wait for a positive OPK. POAS again as it might have been a dud stick. Or you have POAS at the wrong time of day. You should POAS at around 2pm for the best result. Or you drank too much water before POAS meaning your urine was too diluted. Could be lots of reasons. Do you have other signs of ovulation like EWCM and open cervix?

In any case, you can't ovulate without LH and since OPKs detect LH in your urine, if its negative then you aren't ovulating.

Using OPKs can be confusing! It took me a few months to get the hang of it!

I read that it can be the follicles expanding (or something) just prior t O

Kitkat, my O pains took 2 whole days!! and only on the 3rd morning I knew I had Od so I think I Od at the end of the second painful day.

It could just be delayed. Pain is a good sign that something is happening for sure.
do you chart your BBT? then you will know for sure if you did

I haven't been checking my temps, but seems that cm has stayed creamy, which is hopefully a good sign.

    Good luck! Hopefully implantation pain!
I'm still waiting to O and am up to cycle day 22 without a positive OPK. I'm going to buy some more OPKs at the shops tonight, I'm thinking it may be my Internet cheapies.
