Haven't been online this weekend, so sorry for the delay in replying.

The Marketplace is for our members to help you find each other to buy things off or get help with business services etc. It's totally a service for the members and, as such, you guys can tell me what the rules are (within reason ) so that it's a facility that works for you.

Whilst we would appreciate links back to bubhub, we are most certainly not going to enforce that if it means that your anonymity on here is compromised.

So - no, you don't have to link back to here with the Marketplace badge on your blog if that will be a problem for you. You can't really put a badge on FB - all you can do on FB is put bubhub as one of your favourite pages. But again, you don't have to do that if it will cause you issues.

On a business course that I went on, one of the key messages was creating 'raving fans' where people love your service/products and they tell their friends about them. Sadly for us, many of our members like to be totally anonymous and DON'T want to tell their friends because bubhub is their sanctuary where they can share things that they don't want to family/friends to know about!!! We don't want you to lose that sanctuary - so, no, you don't have to link back. If you are able to help us in other ways - such as letting us know about events in your local area or a new parenting-related shop or service that's opened, then we'd appreciate that instead.

I'll reword some of the how to threads and pdf accordingly.

The marketplace is currently visible to everyone - including people who are NOT logged into the forum. Is that OK??

    Wonderful, thank you

Id say leaving the marketplace open to everyone is a good idea.

    I'm still trying to decide...

I do web design and SME/SEM/PPC Marketing, but I just don't think there would be the interest for it via BH?

I also do drawings, which are listed on etsy...but I don't think people here would be interested...however I could be indecisive regarding this due to a lack of confidence...blah....I'm rambling and indecisive.

It's free and it only takes a few minutes to make a marketstall - why not just give it a go. If there's no interest, all you've done is waste about 10 minutes of your time. And if there's interest, well great! You just don't know what our members might need in terms of services.

That's fair enough, however if someone searches for my business name (it happens a bit), and the BH market place comes up (which is likely because BH has pretty good SEO), then my business is linked to my BH username- which is not preferable...I would die if one of my clients saw some of my posts in here. However....I would like extra business... I am truly confused.

FWIW I just googed "Cara's fine foods" and it did lead to BH...

I think I will just put my art stuff up anyway as my posts on here can't really effect the inexistant branding....

Is it possible to unlink the username from the store? So make the store there but not that its 'my' store if that makes sense?

Also is there anyway to change the Thumbnail?

Well the whole point was that members want to deal with other members that they knew through the forum - people that they trust and like. If we remove the username, that's all gone.

The only other thing we can do is make the Marketplace viewable ONLY to logged in members of the forum. That way the stalls won't be listed in google and can only be seen by forum members. wdyt?
