Default High HCG levels.....Twins???? How do I work out DPO?

    Hey ladies,
Was just hoping to get some of your experiences from those who have had High HCG levels.

My one frosty was transferred on the 13th of October and I had my 1st Beta on the 26th of Oct which was 950.

I had a 5day transfer so not really sure how to work out my dpo to accurately assess my hcg levels against the dpo.

My second beta was 11600 on the 2nd of nov.

These are high but i am not feeling any nausea or extra tired at all which is apparently typical of twins.
My 1st baby i had worse nausea than i do now which makes me wonder???

What are your thoughtsThanks in advance

    Hi there

If the frosty was a blast ie equiv of 5dt you would count your dpo from 5 days before transfer. From my calculation that would make your first beta at 18dpo.

They are pretty high levels so you never know. Good luck.

I agree with Smurf....my calculations put you at 18 DPO too!!! Wow these levels sound really high.

I've just got my BFP and my HCG was 122 at 11 DPO, so I'm hoping for a big rise at my next BT on Wednesday which will mean that I'm 16 DPO....

    Congrats on your pregnancy...good .

    hi L85
I am currently pregnant with twins. my hcg at 14 dp 3dt was 884 and then a week later was something over 8000. you cant always pick twins up by hcg levels they say as high numbers can also mean a strong embryo. You will probably just have to wait until the 7 week scan...good luck. Oh and symptom wise I had none either and have had the easiest of pregnancies so you cant really go by that either.

Hope this helps. As someone else said, if its a 5 day blastie count back 5days. If its 3 count back 3. I always assumed it was the day after EPU?
