Going Camping

We are in the middle of planning a camping weekend and was wondering if anyone has been with a 10 month old?

I'm after some hints, tips and what to take.

We went camping a couple of weeks ago (or was it only last week? sheesh, I lose track of time!) with our 5 kids - our youngest is one tomorrow.
I found that we didn't really need anything at all! She didn't use many nappies because most of th time she was free-ballin' it on the grass . She cosleeps at home anyway so obviously didn't need a cot. The only thing I wished I had taken was her sling which I'd foolishly forgotten - it would have made bushwalking a lot easier.
I took her nappy bucket which we used as a bath - it worked really well and she thought it was excellent

Hey,

Friends of ours took a plastic laundry basket for there baby to sleep in. with a pillow or quilt layed in the bottom. I thought it was a great idea and worked well

we went camping last weekend and my daughter is 14 mths old! the best thing i took was her portacot!!! So much easier if i wanted to relax and not have to chase her around, i put her toys in it and she had a ball!
