I'm wanting a tattoo that represents my family but not names and writing a picture only.

If ever acutally get around to getting one is another story... lol

I don't like it, but I don't like tattoos in general.

    I don't mind them.

My mum has mine and my bros names on her lower back, my dad's name on her wrist. Then she has her 2 grandsons (brothers) names and date of birth (same day, 5yrs apart) on her ankle and yesterday she just got my daughters name and a picture of a Violet (dd's middle name and my grandmothers (mums mum) name) on her leg.

I like them. I'm considering getting the Celtic motherhood knot with my two kids names on each side once this bubs gets here.

DH isn't going to get one, he's not a fan of tattoos. He doesn't mind mine because it's one that can be hidden. This new one will most likely be on my back, so again can be hidden.

Tattoos aren't my thing, but I do like name tattoos done nicely, it can look quite good.

I got the letter 'A' tattooed on my ribs. It is probably about the size of a 50c coin and no one can see it unless I am not wearing a top!

When I was pregnant, my baby’s nickname was Archie so it is to remind me of him. It reminds me of the immense love I felt for my child and that no one else is worth sacrificing as much for as I was prepared to sacrifice for my child.

I think any tattoo has the potential to look tacky though!

I think it's really tacky/bogan, but that's probably more a judgement of the people I've known who had them. Several have been guys like AM's ex, who have these huge blaring tattoos of their kids names yet in reality have zero to do with the kids!

I loathe tattoos generally, and childrens' names are no exception..
