I actually love the idea. I have wanted to do this for my kids for a while now, just looking for the right time. I love seeing guys with tatts of their kids - it's just really sweet

I think some can look tacky depending on where they are but I think they are nice.
I have the first letter of DDs name on my hand and I love it and I think it looks cute but I'm sure some people would disagree but it means something to me and that's all that matters

DH has DD1 and DD2 on his forearms, we are still trying to work out where DD3's will be, he is getting it done this weekend at the tattoo show.

I am getting all 3 names inside a love heart on my shoulder blade.

I'm not really a fan. Seems like everyone has it done and I think it can look a little tacky.

I did plan on getting something to commemorate my DS... but it wouldnt be a name or birthdate. I am rethinking now though, as will be having another one soon.. and feel I am abit out of my tattoo stage. lol I only have tattoos where they can be hidden.

I get them mixed up with siblings and pets on a bad day..

i have DD's name a little heart and her DOB on my wrist. Ill be getting all my other kids names and DOB on me as well.

Our work doesnt allow you to have visible tattoos. Everyone has been asked to cover theirs up except me. They dont mind my tattoo showing for some reason.

Id like to know why, if a lot of people have it done it becomes "tacky", apparently has no meaning and you shouldnt have it done anymore. It doesnt take the meaning out of it at all.

I don't understand it personally. Wouldn't have it done myself.
