Being a qualified doctor means fck all. Just saying.
A chiropractor is a qualified medical professional.
OP I took DD1 to a chiropractor for colic and a stiff neck. He did more for her than any doctor did.
During my second pregnancy I saw a chiropractor too, and that was absolutely amazing the magic he worked on my pregnant body. We took DD2 to him when she was just 4 days old and she has been such a happy baby, right from birth.
There is no bone and spine cracking. It's very gentle massage and gentle manipulations. Manipulations are made with this clicky thing. Both chiropractors demonstrated the clicky thing on me first and you hardly feel it at all. My second chiropractor even showed me massage techniques to help if DD2 was unsettled.

So can anyone refer me to a good one in sydney??
Where in Sydney are you?
South.. Mortdale. But willing to travel if i got recommended someone good.
My chiro is in Ramsgateon Rocky Point Rd. She used to be in Blakehurst, but moved. If you search Blakehurst Spinal Care, the old address will come up, and I don't know the exact new address or phone number. The office is on the opposite side of the road to the intersection pub, towards Taren Point. I will try and find a business card with the updated details.
Thanks. Sounds great!
I was just looking through the binas I threw out a newsletter from them today
I couldn't see in the dark, but will look again tomorrow.
I love nothing more than a well informed opinion. But all chiropracters are not bone crackers, and I don't think they license witch doctors in Australia. Sorry that is just my opinion
ETA just thought I would add DD2 vomited every day, full on vomit and never slept between 2 weeks & 6 weeks old. Unless she was wrapped and lying on my chest. One visit to the chiro and she never once vomited again, and started sleeping in her cot 36 hours later. When she was about to be declared FTT failure to thrive, I took her back to the chiro, and she began gaining weight. All the medical help in the world did nothing for us, despite their best efforts. I think conventional medicine has its place but you know what so do a lot of other things. If you put all your eggs in one basket you will live your life eating omelettes.
