    125g Butter
395g tin of sweetened condensed milk (I make my own)
    2 tablespoons golden syrup
    1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white chocolate (bits of chopped into small pieces grated works really good)

melt butter in a pan over low heat add condensed milk, brown sugar and golden syrup bring to boil stirring occasionally then simmer for 10minutes stirring constantly.
Remove from heat stir in white chocolate until all melted and combined (no lumps)
Line a pan with baking paper pour in mixture then place in fridge for 2.5hrs or until firm cut and serve.

I made this lot without the chocolate

oh the cooling time is very important if you don't allow it to set long enough then it turns out more like chewy toffee

I am going to be making this very soon. If only I had all the ingredients in my pantry

I saw this on taste.com.au the other day and thought it looked pretty darn delicious too...

I tried that one once but seeing as I don't like apricots I replaced them with cherries it was super yummy

I'm thinking of making up some more LCM's or muesli bars too

Ohhh i love baking so much really it makes me so happy. Unfortunately my DH is on a major health kick (hes lost over 14 kgs) and has absolutely no flour etc so there isnt anything I can bake that he can eat. If i do bake something then id have to eat the whole lot myself and I really cant do that lol

I love baking too I'm always in the kitchen either baking or cooking a nice meal....I hate cooking if it's just something that is simple and has to be done for the sake of it eg. I hate cooking dinner on steak and veg night I find it very boring and I don't like cooking when everyone is hungry and I have to just rush, I like to take my time and make something that takes a few hours but ends up being great and enjoyable.

Is it just no flour or is he off the sweet stuff to? There's lots that you can make without flour if he's still eating sweet
