I have decided to take a break from bub hub. I am just finding it so hard at the moment. Seems that everyone around me is pregnant or just had a baby. We should have been 6 months now. DP & I have been arguing lately and it is all getting to much

Good luck to you all on your journeys and I hope happiness finds you all very soon.
    XOXO

Much love Lama. Hope in a month or 2 you'll be back with a BFP. I understand why you need to leave.

Can I join? I'd like some support from others who have had a m/c.

I'm having one right now :-( i started spotting kast night and passed a few clots today. Very bad cramps since yesterday, worse before clots bow easing off and not too much blood loss. I should have been 7-8 wks but dating scan friday showed 5wk fetus. Bloodtest confirmed levels dropped so i knew it was goong to hdppen. sad but relieved the bleeding will hopefully mean no d&c. Scan next Monday.

I just want it over with so we can get pregnant again.

    Hubby is sad.

Hi vintage lover... Big hugs. Such a devastating thing to experience. My hubby was very sad too. Just let the feelings come and go and take one day at a time.
It's good you are looking forward to the future too.
    Hugs for you. xo

    Thanks tamtam xx

It's a strange time I went from feeling pregnant to not pregnant overnight.. In my head the change was very fast. It's the physical aspect that is harder to deal with. And the worry of not getting pregnant again.

At 5weeks I feel lucky to have had a loss earlier rather than later which would be devastating.

I'm just hoping for no operation. Hubby is under pressure work wise also and I don't want to stress him out more. He's really over it. Poor guy he was so excited for the baby.

vintage lover, I sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you find plenty of support here. So did you get the news at your dating scan? I wonder if I'll ever be able to go to another scan without being scared.

Hope the pain is easing up and you are doing OK

Electric rodeo... I also feel the same about scans! DH and I were so excited going because we thought we'd see heartbeat at our 9 week progress scan (had one at five weeks and all was fine) only to be given bad news.

Well at the dating scan I should have been 7 to 8 weeks (8 based on lmp) so when baby measured at 5 weeks I knew. They were saying the dates might be wrong but I knew they weren't. Went to doc late that afternoon for bloods.. Got them back sat lunchtime confirming no rise in preg hormones.. Had dropped. Doc told me how to prepare for miscarriage and what to expect. I'd already been cramping. Worsened over the day then spotting last night. Really bad cramps started thismorning and I've been on panadol and nurofen all day. Lost some large clots (sorry) then pain eased up...

    Is that normal?

I'm wondering if it will get worse or better now?

    Time will tell I guess..

HUGS, as awfulas it is, it does sound normal. I find the most pain comes when you pass clots and have the heavy bleeding. It should ease up heaviness wise but you may spot for a while (like a week or two?).
