    Historically, the circ rate reported in BH surveys has been around 30%, which is about twice the actual national rate for preschool boys. The source of this discrepancy is unclear, but I would suggest that circumcision is simply not an issue for the majority of parents (whose sons are of course intact). This would leave an asymmetry among those who visit this forum. Something similar happens in the vaccination forum, which has a disproportionately large number of anti-vaxxers, since the vast majority of parents simply follow the recommended schedule and are not interested in what they regard as a pointless and overly emotional debate.
