Lucky number 9 ! I had 11eggs taken, 10 of which were mature, 9 of them fertilized ! The lab rang this morning and said they may wait until Tuesday and do a blast transfer instead. have to hang around adelaide a little longer before heading back home
had my first follicle scan on Friday the 13 too..... Luck is in the air!

Congratulations on your BFP snowbunnii!!! You must be so excited.

Well done to all the girls with their EPU's this week. I'm hoping that you get some great quality embryos for now and the freezer.

AFM, I've had a bit of bright red bleeding today, mixed with my pessary discharge (sorry for TMI). It hasn't got worse through the day, so I'm hoping it's just caused by the pessaries irritating my cervix (I read about that last week when I was freaking out about spotting). I'm just hoping and praying that it isn't a sign of a miscarriage, I don't want to have to deal with that again. I'll just be holding on for my next blood test on Monday, unless something goes wrong this weekend.

Congrats Snowbunni! That's fantastic news!!! here's to lots more BFPs for January!

And great news EPU girls - 9 is sounding like the magic number.

Babysteps - I'm sure it is just caused by the pessary. Good luck for you blood test on Monday.

Good luck with yours!!! I hope we are both successful!!!

we'll be doing a 3 day transfer.. apparently as its our first cycle and because of my age.

Yay for us!! That we both get to be on by sometime February

Just doing a quick update (strangely hard to do on an iPad! So apologies if i've missed anyone

babysteps - sending you all good vibes and all fingers and toes crossed for you

    Hope everyone is doing well

AFM : had another scan this morning, still responding well to everything, expecting 12ish at pick-up, could be more if my left ovary wasn't so lazy and decides to kick on a bit!!!! My FS has offered to transfer 3 embies, so I'm currently sitting on my deck pondering on it and it's proving a difficult decision to make, on the one hand I have to take into account my age and increasing the number of transfers increases my chances but there is also the risk of multiple births(also the donor has twins in his family history), twins I reckon I could handle at a stretch, but triplets, I know I would truly struggle emotionally, physically and financially. The only thing working against me is my age, in every way the stim cycle has gone perfectly with all at my clinic saying I am responding as a much younger woman would, which might not mean much if my egg quality turns out to be below par. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
