Ladies, can I ask a personal question, especially to those who've been through previous stim cycles?? Is it just me, or do the drugs bring on copious, and I mean copious, amounts of CM as you get closer to epu? Sorry if tmi, but I've been well...astonished to say the least!!!

Jeb - prior to starting this IVF malarky I had a fear of being sedated. My only previous one was for having wisdom teeth out and I was so scared I woke up sobbing! I've now had three sedations and am no longer bothered by them. I thought they were a GA as I am absolutely dead to the world through the process but was sternly corrected by one of the anaethetists that it is just a sedation. I'm now monumentally curious and will have to ask my friend (who handily enough is an anaethetist) what the difference is. good luck!

Peejay - our clinic has said they will only transfer one embie for the moment because I am under 37 (yeah, by a year) and we have only just started trying. They seem open to it further down the track though. I am hestitant though because of all the risks associated with twins, even though part of me wouldn't mind having the entire family in one hit.

Snowbunnii - for your blood test.

Hello to everyone else. May your injections be smooth, your follicles grow to proper sizes and your embryos stick.

AFM - scan today showed a thin lining (5.3) so I get to go on two estrogen pessaries instead of one. Has anyone done two at once? They didn't tell me whether to pop both in at once or one after the other. They're reasonably small so I think I'll go for the two at once, unless anyone knows any better.

Leafy, I'm sure one straight after the other is fine, kinda awkward doing two at the same time.

Bec- I bet you're excited! Good luck for Friday

Summershine do u keep running during the tww? I have been doing group training (like bootcamp) and crossfit training with my PT 5 times a week, lots of running and other things, but only really started after last cycle 12 weeks ago, so much fitter now but closer it gets to my ET for my FET the more unsure I am as to whether I should stop :s part of me thinks if being fitter is what will get it to work, then why stop?!

    Buttercrumpet - Goodluck!!

jessesgirl - Congrats on your new job! Bummer about giving Jan a miss

BedT - Woohoo! Goodluck for Friday!!

CJ81 - Goodluck to you too!!

AFM - I've been feeling like crying all day.
I want to cry because I'm scared for when AF arrives tomorrow because then it means I have to start my first IVF, but I'm also sad because what if she doesn't arrive tomorrow? The last 6 or so months I have been a regular 15 day LP which means AF SHOULD be here tomorrow, but what if she wants to start playing silly buggers because of the Clomid?
I feel like she is coming, and she probably will, but what if she doesn't...
I will have to suffer like this for who knows how long to start IVF.

Sorry, just having a pity party

    Hi everyone

Just updated myself on the roll call. I am out again this month. AF arrived this morning - 3 days early again like last cycle I have not even made it to testing day yet!! Really bummed and upset. Just waiting for the nurses to call me back about what happens next. We are doing IVF for male factor but now I feel like I am letting us down because nothing even remotely sticks to me. Oh well.

Anyway hope all you lovely ladies get your BFPs this month. Best of luck for the rest of your cycles

    x
