    everyone!

Our appointment on Saturday went fine. All consent forms are signed, and I was pleased to sign one that said if for some reason we couldn't do regular IVF after egg collection, they would do ICSI. I'm glad because I worry that my egg quality is poor. No reason other then we are 'unexplained', but you can find your problems with IVF sometimes ... or so I was told.
I guess I was immune to rubella because she didn't say anything? I'm pretty sure I have been tested for it, but wasn't 100%.

I now have the go ahead to wait until AF arrives and then call the clinic. AF should be here on Friday

I had to tell my boss today that I was doing IVF. Man that was a tough conversation, but I had to explain as it will cut into my work time greatly.

    I need to confess something...

At first I was all excited about IVF, but now I am starting to get really scared. I'm 12DPO of my clomid cycle and started testing today (I'm not usually a tester, but I have heaps left over from my booster cycle). I keep willing a second line there just so I don't have to do IVF, but the pains I'm feeling...I know it is going to happen...

Hi everyone, thanks for all your good thoughts and wishes.
I'm so pleased to say that my results are in and I got a BFP!

I'm trying to moderate my excitement at the moment, at least until after my week 7 viability scan, as my last pregnancy ended at that point. that this one sticks around and grows rapidly.

Disney, it's normal to be a bit nervous about starting IVF, I know I was! Good luck with this cycle, perhaps you won't need to begin IVF at all, but even if you do, it's not as scary as you might imagine.

Congrats baby steps! fingers crossed its a nice, healthy bubba that keeps getting bigger.

Disney, i feel the same sometimes. IVF is scary but i guess you just have to take it day by day and try and get through it. It'll be worth it when you succeed

I talked to my clinic today, and I'm going in for a blood test on thursday and (hopefully) starting the meds on friday. My DF is so mega excited now that its all happening, which is so sweet. At the same time though, i don't want to get his hopes up if it doesn't work...

Congratulations babystepswa that is wonderful news!

AFM - I had another scan today and I now have 15 follies growing very nicely. I have another scan first thing on Wednesday morning and FS thinks that I am on track for EPU on Friday! I hope it stays that way as that means I can rest all weekend

    Congrats babysteps!!

Ladies, can I ask a personal question?

When filling out the consent forms, what did you decide to do with your frozen embies after 10 years? I'd like to think that DH and I would still be together and completed our family, and that I could donate them to another couple, but it would be weird to know that I MAY technically have more children out there. I also feel that it would be cruel to just discard them?

Hmmm I'm not sure, and either is DH.

Woo hoo.. Congrats babysteps... That is fantastic news.. Hoping you can send some of that magic to all if us..

I had my 6 day blood test today which showed my LH levels were low (they were 1.3 and they wanted them at 1.4 or higher.. Grrr so close) so I started Luveris tonight.. OMG the cost of it is crazy.. $320 for 2 days worth.. I have my blood test and scan on Wednesday morning so I'm hoping my LH levels are up because another $320 will kill me..

Disney, when we filled out the forms DH and I decided that should either of us pass the frosties could legally be given to the other person but if we separated they had to be destroyed.. Just a personal choice..

Hugs and baby dust to you all for BFP's.. I've always wanted a baby in October so I'm crossing fingers

    Jen xo

15 sounds great. What day of your cycle will u be on when they expect to do the collection. I am about to do my first jab tonight, and all going well, the fs expects I will have collection on day 11. That sounds very early for a 28 day cycle. I am doing antagonist, so same as you, but I wasn't on the pill. Any info will be of help atm. Thx

Congratulations Babysteps! I am so happy for you, I'm sure this will be a sticky one for you

Cj- 15 follies is awesome news! Sounds like you are on track for a great collection this week

April good luck with your talk with DH, I'm sure you both will make the right decision.

CG - It's wonderful that your DF is super excited and supportive...you're right it is scary but we just have to think positive for that BFP

Disney - Big for you, IVF is scary, I don't think we'd be normal if we weren't worried about how things will turn out but we just have to look to the future and the bundle of joy that we are all aiming for, but in saying that I really do hope that you get a BFP from your clomid cycle.

Cal1- you are on the journey tomorrow!!

AFM - Had my first blood test today and apparently FS is happy with E2 currently at 661 and they want to see me on Friday for my first scan and another blood test....

Hi tigerqueen, how are you doing so far? I hope your first jab went well. I am fine with all the injections but the Orgalutran stings like hell and tonight was the worst so far I think I may have hit the exact same spot as where I injected 2 nights ago (I swap sides each night). If my EPU goes ahead on Friday it will be cycle day 15. I was only on the pill due to borderline PCOS so it kept things regulated until I was able to cycle again. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask or private msg me
