Congratulations moomechanic and tigerqueen, glad your cycles are off to a good start.

CJ, I hate the orgalutran injection, but if you use a block of ice to numb the area first it can be less painful. Also applying pressure for a few seconds afterwards can relieve it a bit too. My other needle trick is hard to explain, if you look at the needle point there is one bit which sticks out further. I find that having that at the bottom and pushing slowly into my stomach meant it would slide in smoothly rather than puncturing. I'm not sure if this makes sense though.

Good luck lillystar, hope that little one sticks for you. So many women don't get any pregnancy symptoms, you just never know.

Fingers crossed Babysteps, thats wonderful!! The wait must be killing you (as if all of us IVF'ers aren't used to constantly waiting for something).

Lilwish, good luck, hope that the TWW goes as fast as it can.

Disneybaby, hope your rubella is all fine. Im surprised your FS didn't test it ages ago? i think its a pretty standard test. I think from memory, if you aren't immune, it might only set you back a month to have a booster.

Cal1, hope AF turns up soon for you so you can get started

Thanks for the advice girls, I've been sick as a dog with a bad cold/flu but I'm sure it will be clearing up by next week. I am so excited to finally be starting!! Even if it doesn't work first go, I just want to get into the cycle and get it over with. I'm trying to time AF to start on Saturday. Only a few more days of this yukky pill, yay!

Babystepswa, I have for you tomorrow!

Hey Clementine, glad you feeling a little better...you poor thing

Hey lillystar, I'm sure its too early for you to be feeling anything just yet but I'm sure your emby is getting all nice and snuggly in there... you start getting some signs soon to put your mind at rest! Hope your TWW goes super quick for you

CJ81, glad you are finally getting some symtoms that your ovaries are doing some good work making lovely eggs for you! Isn't it funny that we get excited about the discomfort because you know things are a happening?

Sorry can't see any further back at the moment, this is such a busy thread!

AFM ~ I'm worried that I don't have enough symtoms yet...too much/too little...I'm always complaining I can't wait for my BT tomorrow to know that my ovaries are actually doing work!

    Hey girls,

Could I ask you guys a question? Which day in the cycle do you normally do your EPU? It seems to be around day 12? My clinic (Genea) said its usually between 12-14 but some people are day 10 and others go out a bit longer.

Just because I wasn’t supposed to stop the pill until Thursday, so (hopefully) i’d have full AF by Saturday so I can time my EPU from when my DF is home. Buuut it looks like AF has decided to turn up on her own! I’ve got a tiny bit of spotting today, and i’m just going to keep taking my pill, and hopefully i can delay AF for at least 2 or 3 more days. You have to start the injections on the first full day of AF don’t you? Not just light spotting/bleeding.

CG, everyone is a bit different, depending on how you respond. Usually around day 12-14, but if your follies are big enough, you don't want to risk them popping and missing your chance - that's when you do trigger shot to control ovul. timing all works out for you and DP is home in time. Frustrating when they work away, isn't it! My DH does at times too, so have had to work around his trips, or plan his trips around cycles. I'd call clinic to tell about spotting and see what they say. Good luck!

moo & tiger, congrats on starting yr cycle.

babysteps, how did BT go? sounds like yr utd

Lillistar, relax and try not to look for signs. cramps always make us wonder if it's good news or bad, so maybe no signs is better - not everyone gets signs

Thanks lilwish If I start a bit early, he will be home by day 11 which is cutting it fine but hopefully I won’t go early. If I do, we’ve agreed he will have to fly in for a “sire service” for the day It’s all so romantic isn’t it! It is very hard to time it when they are away a lot, i travel for work too but have kept the next little while free. I figure at least I’ll know 36 hours before when I do the trigger, so we’ve got time to fly him in if we need to. I’m pretty lucky that DF will put the ivf first and change things around if he needs to.

Babysteps - best of luck for your BT today!! Hope you're our first graduate!!

Jessie - I just read on another thread that you've finally got permanent work! Fantastic news hon!! You'll be starting here again in no time!

Lilly - hope you're doing ok! I totally agree with lilwish - sometimes no news is good news. If you were having cramps, you'd be left wondering if that meant something negative anyway. How we torture ourselves!

Hello to everyone else, and I hope you're all doing well.

AFM, I have started spotting (finally) so I'm doing frantic knicker checks every hour to see if AF will come in properly! Looks like I'll start sniffing tomorrow!
